This would not work when I received it had to return it and get the black one at the store. Would not recommend the blue one.

I bought an iPad Air 2 and was debating whether I should get a keyboard or not.. was planning on same as my old ipad and iphone, use the screen to type, but at the same time I was researching on keyboards that are not bulky, smooth to type, user friendly. I looked on amazon and other websites and read the reviews carefully. I saw this (on black) but I didn't see enough buyers thus not enough reviews so I went to bestbuy and boy oh boy the moment I saw this violet keyboard I couldn't put it back to the shelf. it is lightweight, color is very pretty and all the people who have seen it love it, very handy, provides protection to my ipad, bluetooth/wireless, typing is super smooth keypads are very soft, the magnet that makes/supports the ipad is so far working great (it's been a month). this would've been perfect if it has backlight, but doesn't matter I can use the screen when it's dark. I'm telling everyone, I was never jn love with my iPad Air 2 until I got this logitech keyboard type+. LOVEEEE! this is not going back to bestbuy!:)

This is my first time using a blue tooth keyboard . I purchased it with my iPad Air 2 . It has a magnetic edge that attaches to my iPad when you first open it and lean your iPad forward to use the keyboard . It is a pretty strong magnet with no slippage or lack of grip . At first I was a little irritated because there were no written instructions on how to use or connect , only a picture type diagram . It very simple to connect and automatically connects when I attatch my iPad to the magnetic strip . It puts my iPad in sleep mode when I close the cover and has raised corners so the keys don't directly touch the screen . It's works very well with no skipping when using the keys . Over all I'm very impressed with the functionality and sleek design .

Unstable and constantly repairing with Bluetooth. For $120 this is an abomination. Worse product purchase in years.

I travel for work and have to use my iPad for business. I used to just type on the screen, but I wasn't as efficient as I would like to be. I decided to splurge and buy this case. First, the case fits the iPad Air 2 perfectly. Theres a magnetic strip by the top of the keyboard that the iPad bonds to. It's nice to know that you don't have to worry about the iPad falling while typing. Also the keyboard is pretty close to normal size and makes typing feel natural. Yes, the case is pricey but if you're looking for a case with a keyboard that is comfortable to type on then look at this case.

I don't typically write reviews, but this has allowed me to do so much more than I anticipated. I still can't replace my laptop completely, but this has made simply tasks so much easier than hauling around even my new ultrabook. Easily can take notes, answer emails, and even look up information from the web while in meetings. Not that I couldn't do all these things before, but for me, I enjoy using a real keyboard and this one allows me to type with few mistakes and I hardly notice it isn't a full size keyboard.

I tried the Belkin and the Zagg keyboards. The Zagg one I tried has lots of plastic, and did not have a tablet mode, other than the bulky model with detachable clam shell. The Belkin is a mess. The magnet is not strong enough to keep the tablet at the 135 degree angle under moderate movement (picking up with one hand to move from table to couch, for example). The bluetooth kept dropping, sometimes to the point where you had to forget and rediscover the device. Also, something about the screen position has you accidentally tapping the bottom of the screen in mid-type, sending your cursor to a completely different part of the email//note/message. The Logitech keyboard is everything the Belkin is not: reliable Bluetooth, solid keyboard, smart about when to turn the keyboard on/off depending on keyboard vs. tablet mode, strong magnet for holding screen in position, etc. One note; the shortcut key that is the globe-looking icon is not a shortcut to the web browser. Instead it is to switch to Emoji or other languages optioned in iPad settings' languages. There is no owners manual available in the box or online, but a call to Logitech customer support was helpful in getting me straight on the shortcut key.

Will not hold due to the method that it holds the IPad in the holder.

Doesn't fit well nor does it seem like it would provide protection.

Purchased for family member and she loves it and would recommend it.

This is a replacing the logitech keyboard for ipad 3. I liked the former and this is greatly improved. Tablet clips in securely (no fear of falling out of the groove), is covered both back and front with a non-slip material, keyboard has great feel and is very responsive. I'd have to search for a complaint and that is the spacing between the cover and tablet is so tight that it takes a bit of work to get the recharger connection in. But I'd definitely buy this product again.

After trying the Zagg folio which cracked in two weeks, I ended up going back to Logitech. I had a previous version of this for my old iPad and it held up great! This one is no different. You can use it in keyboard mode or simply flip it down to use it in tablet mode. There are no hinges to crack so no worries about whether or not it will close. I have been using this for over a month now and still have not had to recharge it. And I use it a lot.

I have fianlly found a keyboard case worthy of the iPad Air 2 after buying and returning two other cases (Belkin and Zagg). The Logitech Type + is thin and light. All features work including the sleep/wake that have not in the other brands. Bluetooth is functionally properly...again issues that have plagued the other brands. Fianlly, my previous Logitech keyboard for the iPad Air 1 brackets that hold the iPad broke twice...was returned and replaced. Logitech has redesigned these brackets and they look to be much more durable....time will tell. Great device...way to go Logitech.

I am very pleased with this case/keyboard. My only concern is that there is noting to hold the iPad in place on it's left side. If i were to drop the case, I would worry that the iPad would fall out and potentially get damaged, Overall, this is a great purchase and I would highly recommend. It would be nice to see another option with backlit keyboard, but that's obviously not a necessity.

I bought this wanting a good keyboard for my iPad and a thin case so that it doesn't add much weight to the iPad Air. The keyboard isn't bad, the chiclet keys are pretty comfortable, I only had to get used to the letter A key. It's wider, substituting the cap lock, though the function is there. You just have to activate it with the function or command key, I forget which. But my biggest gripe isn't the keyboard at all! It's the support that holds the iPad Air. It's held by two thin rounded plastic pieces that only hold the two right corners of the pad. The design flaw is the upper plastic support piece which has a tab so that you can press the wake/lock button on the iPad. The piece is thin already adding the tab weakens the support. After two to three weeks of use it started to break apart, and my iPad fell out. I was not happy with this. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new one. I wasn't surprised when the same thing happened AGAIN. I gave up, having regretted spending the 99.00 on this case. I do not recommend this product if you want to protect your 499.00 iPad (as we all now that's the base price). Do not buy this case. I'm only giving it two stars because the keyboard is decent at best.

I'm very happy with my purchase to this keyboard. It works very well and it looks really awesome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I actually recommended it to my family members for their iPads!!

Using the on screen keyboard can be difficult and it sometimes blocks out what you are trying to enter data for. This keyboard removes that problem while providing a durable protective cover.

My husband loves his iPad Air 2 but dislikes the touch screen. This keyboard was the perfect fix! Well made, reasonably priced, super easy to set up and works like a charm.

great long lasting keyboard which makes your ipad more accessible

I love the way the keyboard feels and it works very well. It provides protection and does what I need it to do, but have a few days of having the case closed I noticed there was a long mark on the screen protector I have on my iPad. After looking at it more I could see the mark was caused my the magnet above the keyboard. I am not sure if it would make a mark directly on the glass, but I am not going to find out. I guess you could put a cloth between the screen and keyboard when you close, but you shouldn't have to. Sadly I have to return this case for that reason. I loved the case otherwise.
