Cannot seem to get this working on iOS above 8.0!

Took iPad and case to Apple and stumped the Genius. However, the keypad sync'ed, linked and worked with our older iPad Air 2 running iOS 8 +/-. we're guessing a firmware issue or upgrade needed. However, Logitech support sites provided no guidance on this matter either. So, we are curious to see what happens when we upgrade the older iPad to new iOS... Does this keypad become archaic?

The Only Keyboard I’d Ever Use

What I really loved is Logitech didn’t change much in terms of the keyboard layout and functionality in the three years since I bought the last one. I just changed out the keyboard and kept typing. I really love this keyboard and its layout and functionality - - it is perfect for me!
