The receiver performs well at short range, but at distances more than 15 feet or so the audio breaks up if anything/anyone interferes with direct line of sight.

I purchased this so I could listen to music while using the Bluetooth capability on my iphone and ipod. It connected easy to the speaker system and it practically connected itself to the iphone/ipod. Definitely nice to be able to carry the phone to be able to change the music no matter where I am in the room.

For only $25 this Bluetooth adapter is amazing. It holds it’s signal very well. I bought it for work so we don’t have to listen to the same old music over and over again. I more wires and having to leave our phones in the office. Such a good product I bought another one.
