    Solid set of pretty basic speakers. We use it on our projector to sub in for its lackluster internal speaker. Adjustable base is a plus, and you can really get a decent, sub-free boom out of these things if you want it. Not perfect audio control or balancing, but if affordability is as important to you as it was to me, you really can't go wrong with these speakers.

    If you are looking for big, booming sound these are not the speakers. But if you want a set of inexpensive speakers that are fine for most applications, these are great.

    I was having trouble with them at first and found out that they have to be used in the upright position. If you lay the speaker down horizontally, it will not work. It should state this in the directions.
