The brand name at the very least guarantees a certain level of quality, and it hasn't let me down yet. Although the wires can be a little annoying if you don't do your own organizing.

Solid sound

Some output jacks gave only monaural sound, but other jacks on the same computer gave good stereo. The space where they are used is small, so they don't need to blast, but they are solid and probably could generate too much noise.

Good but not great..

However if you hook up ear buds to them then obviously they will have good quality sounds BUT if you are wanting to entertain yourself and some guest/s with a movie or videos then these are not the speakers for you.
