Honestly love the sound of the speakers, but good luck if the wireless remote goes out because they are useless without it.

Audio delay with 3.5 mm audio cable and Bluetooth

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Was hoping this was going to be great set of speakers for its price, ended up being a bust! There is major audio delay using the 3.5 mm audio cable plugged directly into my PC and the Bluetooth audio is worse. The audio also pops randomly making what you watch or play unenjoyable. Going to return these and hope for something better.

Hi Nate, thank you for sharing your experience with the Z407 Speakers. I'm sorry that you experienced a delay in the audio with both the 3.5mm connection and Bluetooth connection. The random pop sound could be from a few different options the main one being a power supply surge. I'm sorry that this was happening to you as well. If you are looking for a different speaker option you can look at the Z623, it offers a higher wattage output proving you with more sound. I hope that you are able to find something that works for your set up. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech

Initally Aftwr purchass these worked , although they would disconnect themselves and cause some driver issuses switching between them and my head set. This could have been a computer issue so I reformatted and somehow the speakers will not enter pairing mode. There is no help center for them , no customer service number and no way to reset them to factory .. id choose another set to be safe

Worst speakers I've ever owned. They almost always make popping noises, even when no audio is played. Cheapest wiring possible and worst grounding/shielding is most likely the culprit. Don't waste your money. I had an older Logitech 3 piece that had shotty wires as well and would pick up long wave radio at ultra low volume, and I couldnt control it. I could hear World Harvest Radio, sometimes a Japanese News radio. Save your money and buy a different brand.

Hello Matt, Very sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the Z407 Computer Speakers making popping noises. Often, the popping-sound problem can be fixed by moving electronics away from the speaker system. Cellphones are often the culprit or tablets. Simply move them away from the speakers and see if that fixes the problem. If you run your speaker system through your computer, the popping may be caused by a discordance between your computer volume and your speaker volume. If you have your computer volume set very low, you may have unwittingly turned your speakers up very high, resulting in the popping noise. Popping sometimes results from not fully plugging in your wires all the way. Check all input connections in your system to make sure everything has been fully plugged in. In the same vein, your system's wires may have aged or been damaged, which can result in a shoddy performance that leads to popping or odd noises. Popping noises for users running their speakers through their PCs may be explained by failures of their sound cards. Just like all computer components, sound cards can age or become inoperable after time, resulting in poor performance. Most computer stores sell replacement sound cards and can diagnose sound card problems. Some popping noises have to do with internal components of speakers systems that can only be fixed by those with advanced knowledge of the technology. To that end, Logitech does have a 1 year limited hardware warranty to address this issue. Here's a link to File A Claim:  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055951254-Warranty-Z407-Bluetooth-Computer-Speakers-with-Subwoofer-and-Wireless-control. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going better. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

I've been purchasing logitech products for over 10 years. Will no longer be purchasing anything from them. Speakers simply do not work. Sound skipping occurs right out of box and no matter how much you adjust move around, the sound will skip 100% of the time. DO NOT PURCHASE

I could not sort out how to open the little unit to put in batteries and the little buttons were not conducive to my not so nimble fingers. I was frustrating trying to set it up and I chose to pack it up and return! I never heard the sound to be able to give a better rating. Lack of ease for me to set up and cheesy wireless controller with lame little buttons my fingers couldn't manage.

These are legitimately the worst speakers I’ve ever used. Constant audio skips with Bluetooth, constant technical hiccups where the speakers themselves will not work one day, work the next, work one night, then not work the next morning, etc. I genuinely wasted money on these pieces of garbage. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    The Speakers Are Not Wireless!?!?

Just receive this today. Tested it out for 1 hour so far and its good. The only problem I have is, I thought all the speakers were wireless. You have to connect the speakers to the subwoofer. The speakers are wired not wireless/Bluetooth. I understand the subwoofer needs a wire plug to get power but the speakers also? 2 star. The picture barely shows any wired on the speakers. If you want full wireless/bluetooth, go look somewhere else.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear our product pictures were misleading! The Z407 can be a wireless connection to the computer but, unfortunately, we don't make any speakers that are wireless from the sub-woofer to the speakers. The speakers require power and we run the power through the sub-woofer to the speakers on all of our PC speaker sets with sub-woofers. Otherwise, the speaker sets with no sub-woofer plug into the wall or are USB powered through your computer. Feel free to reach out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 if you ever need any assistance or if something happens in the 1-year limited hardware warranty. This was purchased for a business and never was able to connect to the "Media Center" we have. Was able to connect it to a laptop, but within 2 weeks, it no longer would connect to the laptop, even if nobody else is in the building with not a single Bluetooth device on but the laptop. Looking online, I'm not the only one who has come across this issue either.

Nice while it lasted. Bluetooth dongle disconnects if i have the bass going to much, to the point where i have to actually smack the sub enclosure to get it to reconnect so i can turn the bass down. Of course this started happening a month after i could return it. Save up and get a better set up

Absolute junk. After 40 days it started playing twice as loud out of the right speaker. Had to adjust the balance for it to play equally out of each speaker. Tried to reset and it still played louder out of the right speaker. Of course all of this happened after the able to return date. I will not purchase another Logitech anything.
