The view is clear and when operating every port show a clear distance view of the areas. I’ve that we can focus on individual areas that is scanned and go back to full focus of all cameras

These camera cover a good amount of territory, we hired a friend to install them and bought the small screen to monitor the videos. We are pleased with our purchase.

I purchased these cameras back in November of 2018. So this reviews is based on substantial time in use. These cameras do not perform well at all. A. At night they are set off by all the passing car's headlights, recording volumes of useless info. Many calls to the Lorex company support, all of who tried their best, have not helped at all. B. The PC software is clunky and counter-intuitive. Thus far no software updates or improvements have been provided. The android version is little better. C. The video clarity was fair, particularly back in 2018, but is probably falling behind now in 2020-2021. D. I like the local recording to a hard-drive and no subscription needed--a major plus! I Do Not advise purchase unless there are no/very few cars driving by your location. And, major software improvements are sorely needed, particularly for ease of use.

I returned a different system to get this one but was a bit disappointed since the ad for the alarm and light were misleading. They only work for about 10 seconds and do not work automatically when an intruder shows up. There's no setting for that option and the alarm even when turning it on manually is very faint and will probably make the intruder laugh along with the weak light. I actually wasted 4 hours taking down the old system and getting this one. The one I returned actually had a wider range than this one.

App and interface are the worst i've seen in 2019. records but barely usable. i cant go back to see history normally, its sooo outdated and useless. FALLS WAY BACK when compared to other competitors. This is embarrassingly bad. Capable hardware that's limited by a company thats too lazy to invest 1-2k in a better app!!!! I ended up installing an extra nest camera on top of my expensive system. Thinking of returning but i installed thru walls already. Shouldn't. Whats 4k if you cant use ur system with your iphone in 2019! Angry..

They are really great if you put them where street light hits them or some type of light the cameras go full color which is great all over a great cameras

I hadn't heard too much about Lorex prior to getting this system but, was pleasantly surprised.... Out of the box I found my cameras, cables, DVR, remote and mouse.... Began setup and found the included 60ft cables were too short for my needs... but I moved some things around (reluctantly) and made it work for now... I think I will need to upgrade to the 100 ft cables soon though...A wireless option would be AWESOME.... Setup took some time, but it seemed pretty intuitive, overall not TOO bad, but a bit of a hassle since I need to rearrange my router and DVR stuff to make the included cables work. Once setup, i was very impressed with he 4k quality! Make sure you select the 4k during the setup, it makes a world of difference! The app is very nice and simple. Very good design and intuitive.

This setup has it all. Its only downside is that you must have internet (I do not) to run it unser best case scenario

Used to deter burglaries at my cabin. I feel the ability to turn the light and siren on will make a burglar think twice.

The biggest complaint with this system is that it doesn't do well after the 60' cable. You will need adequate lighting at night to get the full 4k effect.

An excellent product for the professional who wants reliable security system that works flawlessly

Still working good after a year plus of continued use. Good resolution even in night vision.

Bought these on sale at my local Best Buy. I haven’t installed them yet but it was worth the price I paid for them.

Awesome system only complaint is the cooling fan is a little loud(as per my pregnant wife) but I give it 5 stars!

Picture quality is good, reaction time to movement is even better. Cables that come with system are extremely long

Works well, manual is lacking (only available online can not download), bugs and clouds cause motion detection (can be annoying)

Recently had these installed along with other security measures. Seems to work appropriately.

The video resolution is amazing. I have this at a restaurant and when I zoom in can can see everything.
