The size is big and not your regular surveillance camera, if you are trying to hide it or want them to be un-noticeable then I do not recommend them, if you are ok with the size then is a great camera

Very Good Wired Security Camera with Free Storage
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This camera equipment is a great wired security camera set which includes 4 cameras which are 4K and a base. The wired cameras are connected to the base unit which also has a 2TB. Each of the cameras comes with a 60 Ft cable. In some cases the cables are not long enough and I had to get an extension cable to be able to connect 2 of my cameras. The best part is that there is no monthly fee as you can save the recordings to the 2TB hard drive. The hard drive is expandable by swapping out the 2TB with a bigger version. There is also an App which can be installed on a apple or android device and can be used for alerting/notifications and monitoring. SETUP The setup of the camera is better done before installation. So I actually connected the cables/cameras to the hub and connecting the hub to internet (Wired) and to my monitor using the HDMI cable. The hub should have been a wireless hub so that I don’t have to really have a internet over power adapter or keep this hub closer to the router. Once connected, it will ask you to setup userid/password which will then be the same one which will be used on the android/apple app. The app is pretty intuitive as well similar to the zoom app and you can swipe and view the cameras when in use. INSTALLATION I had to get a handyman get this hooked up on the house, 2 on front and 2 on the back of the house. The base unit, I decided to keep it in my room inside the closet and hooked up to an internet over power adapter ( I had d to get someone to put an outlet inside the closet). The BNC cable that comes with camera is pretty thick and I had to figure out a way to get this inside the house through the attic to connect it to the DVR hub. The cameras are IP67 rated and can withstand 131F to -40F temperature and it is water resistant USAGE Once all the cables are connected to the DVR Hub, the usage is pretty straightforward using the android app which lets you view the camera in a very good 4K resolution video. The video is a wide angle display and has a very long range in night light and day time. The camera has also a motion activated LED light which servers as a warning sign for intruders also to light up the subject. It also has a siren which has to be manually activated by the user. Lets now talk about the pros and cons PROS 1. Excellent quality 4K videos (most wireless are 1080p) 2. Very wide angle which you will never get with a blink or arlo 3. No batteries needed 4. Local free storage as compared to paid cloud 5. Expandable storage 6. Expandable to 8 camera system (not that I would need it) 7. Motion detection LED 8. Siren on user activation CONS 1. Wired

A camera here and there goes out and pops back on. The system has shut down on its own and came back on. Picture quality is excellent though. The app notifications have a delay, not real’er time. We had to purchase more cords to have the cameras positioned where preferred. Plus the connectors. My review reads like I should have returned it. Just downgraded from Fair, to Poor.
