This was a GREAT Movie! Interesting & action packed! I was looking forward to this movie. I'm sure their will be a lot of haters out there. But I went into the movie thinking it was like a combo of Johnny Mnemonic & lil bit of Matrix thought. It was and it was good. Wish it was a lil bit longer but other then that I liked it a lot. Great story line, action and keeps you interested in the movie all the way to the end. I would recommend this Movie!

I went into this movie with high expectations, and they were met. The only downside I had was that there wasn't much in the viewer development of attachment or relation to the main characters. They set that up well in the beginning, but it faded a little after that. Other than that, the movie is really intriguing and well-made. The f/x are outstanding. I believe I told a friend that the movie was like the Matrix meets Drive. I won't say anything else because I don't want to spoil the film for anyone.

I Loved It !!! This is just what I want for an entertaining night out at the movies. Of course it is science fantasy, yes there is too much killing, car wrecks, silly pseudo-science, but it is so much fun. "Lucy" has been compared to "Limitless" (another of my favorite movie) and I agree. But Scarlett Johansson does great, sometimes subtle, acting that is amazing to watch. Imagine yourself suddenly able to see all, hear all, feel all, do all.....and know that you are coming apart literally. Check your high expectations for truth and fact at the door. See this movie for the sheer pleasure of entertainment.

Scarlett Johansson definitely helped this movie out but this is a way outside of the box movie.

I found Lucy to be quite an entertaining film. That being said, I found the 4K image quality to be stellar in this release. HDR makes the image pop even more! The sound is also phenomenal! Deeeeep bass gets going right at the onset of the opening credits. Crisp audio presentation and dialogue comes in clear throughout. Demo worthy material IMO, even if you were not a huge fan of the film.

If you love action, good acting, suspense and a non stop thrill ride, than this movie is for you. In a day and age where all the superhero/anti heroe movies have a male lead, its refreshing to have this movie come right along. This movie also makes me question Disney/ and Marvels decision not to make a Black Widow movie. I'm a comic fan and grew up on this character knowing how hardcore she is. Some of the things that the Black Widow has done over her career as a spy and than a superhero makes Jason Born look like a Sunday school teacher. I hope they get it together.

This movie is oddly interesting to say the least. Not sure what I expected, but it is worth watching.

Honestly, this movie reminds me of the sci fi of yesteryear. It's all total nonsense, but if you just turn off your brain and go with it, it's a fun ride. A lot of people think the psychedelic trip at the end reminds them of 2001, but I was more reminded of the trippy ride at the end of Brainstorm (a much more obscure movie than 2001, so understandable that people don't think of it). If you're into "serious science fiction" this movie isn't for you. But if you want a silly romp into pseudoscience with a lot of action and a kick-butt female lead, it's awesome.

Lucy is one of my all time favorite movies. I think of it as a harbinger of the very near future for mankind. I know that sounds like quite a leap for such an unpretentious movie, but it makes sense to me that as neuroscience continues to advance, it's entirely possible that man will begin to be able to access more of his brain. I don't think that is as far fetched as it sounds. To that end, this movie is very well made with good sound and video. I think of it, if you will, as believable science fiction. See what you think!

Although most people don't agree that we only use 10% of our brain power, the premise of this movie is sure fun. And ScarJo turned in a great performance as Lucy, along with Morgan Freeman and a great cast (excellent villain and other supporting characters) made this a really fun movie. Ignore the 10% brain thing and enjoy this one! (The 4k version is excellent as well).

I have been waiting for this movie to hit Blueray and as soon as it did I purchased it from my local Best Buy. I did enjoy the movie and it really makes you think about what is possible with the advances in science today. The only thing that I wish this movie had was a little more action when she becomes able to control her surroundings. All in all I give it 7 out of 10. More action needed.

What might happen if we could use more of our brain power? That's the core of this film and there are some similarities to a previous movie on the same subject, "Limitless". But "Lucy" puts a new spin on the idea and there's a pretty cool tie-in that you'll need to see for yourself - I won't tell you here. An enjoyable film with interesting ideas and a nice twist - Definately worth viewing!

This is an adventure based on a fascinating premise--what would happen if the human mind was able to function at its full capacity. Scarlett Johansson does an excellent job playing Lucy, the woman who goes from average to the extreme limits of brain function. There was debate in our house over the ending, half of us liked it and the other half found it disappointing--judge for yourself.

this movie is about what would happen if humans could develop their minds beyond the basic 10 percent. The question is 100 percent the limit. Or is it a start. To develop into beings without physical form. What if it was accidental happen to one person. Would that be able to understand. Or could that person understand it. That person soon be more intelligent than the smartest person.

Saw a few U-tube clips from this movie and wanted to watch the entire movie. Could not find in any store locally, including Best Buy. Liked the movie. Could not pick it up at local Best Buy, not happy about having to pay shipping

The quality was good but overall the movie was very similar to limitless.

i don't think that in the next 5 years there will be someone who hasn't watched lucy and didn't love it!!! i think is one of luc besson's finest movies it is short, simple, interesting and well moderated action without unnecessarily overdoing it. you will definitely have a good time watching this thriller that won't consume to much of your time in case you don't like it.....for the 4K this movie is worth it since it was entirely made with 4K technology so you will get the most of it and believe me it looks amazing

Video quality is one of the best available. Colors are bold and vibrant, beautiful skintones, and deep, inky blacks. Contrast and clarity and consistent throughout too, and there isn't any artifacting, banding, or errant noise. Edges are crisp and clean. Audio quality is on par with video. Rear surrounds get a good workout. Overall a great addition to any movie collection.

If you like luc besson action films then you'll probably like this one too.

Lucy looks excellent in UHD with 4K video and HDR colors! The Atmos sound is AMAZING as well. We were really happy with this release! The movie is OK. I thought it could have been better as it gets a little weird as it goes along but overall a good movie and a great UHD disc! This is the one we have used to show a couple of friends what UHD is all about!
