Great Luigi game, fun puzzles, good co-op mode.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another great game from Nintendo. This time it's another action puzzle game. You control Luigi, running around solving problems, sucking up ghosts and cleaning up the hotel. Some of the puzzles can be quite challenging and the vacuum controls can be quite wonky sometimes, but overall the game is great.

Lots of fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of fun especially for kids Aged 5-10, its somewhat difficult for kids under 5 amd kids older then 10 might find this too easy or lose interest fast. Im having a blast with my 5 year old, its a great game, gameplay is where the fun is capturing ghosts and stuff, the story is as simple as they come. Definitely worth the $60

Great addition to the series
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All the Luigi's mansion games look great and the animation flows so well, from opening doors to showcasing Luigi's clumsy and cowardly reactions, the latest entry builds on all that and makes it more engaging with new gameplay mechanics, a great story, and solid atmosphere. Great game.

Watch out Luigi!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you get the hang of the controls, the game play goes smoothly and there's a lot to explore. The graphics are amazing and Luigi's reactions and facial expressions add a lot of fun and laughs to the game. The story is funny, the environments are creative, and the boss battles are fantastic. This is a great game.

Fun and cute

Great game for any age
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game because my son loves Luigi. I started to play this game to just to get the feel of it and help my son but I started to get addicted to it and play with it instead. I love this game! It's supercute and not hard to get thru at all. My 6 year old is a pro at beating those ghosts already lol

Fun Game, for ages 10 and up
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As always happens with Nintendo, this game oozes charm. The adventure is wacky from start to finish and I find myself wanting to play more to see what's on the next floors, or behind a locked door. It's very fun to play both in bite sized chunks and long play sessions, perfect for the Nintendo Switch's nature as a hybrid console. However, this game is more suited for a someone over the age of ten, as it uses a lot of mechanics younger children may not remember. However, the game has a fully fleshed out coop, which allows an older more experienced players to play the main character while a younger child gets to play an almost invincible partner. Playing on the tv is perfect in terms of control however playing the game in portable mode, I often found aiming left and right difficult to do precisely while looking up and down was fine due to motion control. Overall I highly recommend this for someone looking to build their Switch Library, or for those with younger kids who are always interested in their video games.

Lugi's mansion up grade kept him busy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not purchase this, my great nephew purchased it. He saved up for it and I took him to buy it. He is 11 and had been waiting for it to come out. He played on the switch as much as he was allowed that weekend. He also gave a $5.00 donation to St Jude's. Donating makes him feel like a grown up.

Not what i hoped, but my son loves it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping this was a good co op game to play, where both persons really can have a hand in the game, but its kind of like Mario Odyssey, where your just a side kick to the main player. Still fun, and my son LOVES it. Also wish there was arcade type mode, like the version you find at Chuckee Cheeses or other similar arcades where you use an actual vacuum looking controller and point and "vacuum" the ghosts that pop up. Im sure if i had carefully read the back, or googled the game, i would have figured this wasn't the case... but luckily still a great game.

Extremely charming
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The whole world of Luigi's Mansion 3 is bursting with character and delightful surprises. I couldn't get enough of each floor and the great characters that you met along the way. The puzzles were fun, the combat with the ghosts is exciting, and the story is interesting. It's a winner!

Great game that retains the best of previous games
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Luigi's Mansion 3 is structured like a cross between the previous two games and retains the best parts of both. Like the original, it has open exploration, numerous cleverly designed bosses, and multiple endings that reward money collection. Like Dark Moon, it has multiple environments with clear divides that make for natural break points, clever gem puzzles, and a fairly enjoyable multiplayer. The downsides are a Scarescraper that has less variety than Dark Moon, one or two floors that are a chore to complete, and a moveset that often causes players to hit the wrong buttons. Very much recommended for people who enjoyed either previous game in the series.

Another flawless AAA Nintendo title
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Luigi's Mansion 3 is another flawless AAA Nintendo title. The co-op mode is extremely fun and honestly better than single player mode as you have to control both Luigi and Gooigi. Lots of gameplay, fun cutscenes and great story as always. Another must-play.

I mean, those are some graphics!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had played the last two games with mixed feelings, but generally had enjoyed them. I was very excited in how this new entry into the series would fare. The presentation once again is top notch. The graphics are amazing. Nintendo somehow pulled a claymation-like aesthetic, but at 60 frames per second, that is simply a joy to behold. There is a physicality to them that is hard to describe. There are a lot of visual effects like fog and lighting, which are bright and fun to watch. The sound effects are what you’d expect from the series. The characters still mumble, the atmospheric sounds are effective, and everything is loud and crisp. The music soundtrack is Luigi’s Mansion’s classic, which is welcome. The story is basically the same as the last two, and I will not go into detail to avoid spoilers, but suffice to say that it is nothing special, but still engaging. Gameplay is a mix of intuitive and fun mechanics, as well as some very annoying and frustrating moments. If you have never played any of the series, it is basically an action-puzzle game. You use the ghost-vacuum to catch ghosts, move objects, and basically solve puzzles. There is a lot of diversity in abilities. Later, a new character is added to help (no spoilers here), creating an interesting dynamic. Enemies, especially bosses, are smartly designed and fun to beat, although I did hate one boss in particular. Speaking of frustration, the puzzles aren't always all that clear and there's a lot of backtracking, and while the stages are fun to go explore, I do not always like going back and forth. The multiplayer aspect is robust with many options. I especially like the co-op, but since I hardly ever go online to play, the other features did not really pull me in. Overall, while not a slam-dunk, I still enjoyed the game –mostly for the graphics. I’m not sure if I'd recommend it at full value, but if you're able to find it on special, I'd say go for it!

A Fantastic Follow-up to a Hidden Gem
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the Gamecube launched many people were disappointed that a mainline Mario game did not launch alongside it. Instead the 'Mario' launch game for the platform was Luigi's Mansion, a very different style of game than a platformer. Instead it was much closer in game play style to traditional PC adventure game. The sequel on the 3DS was also a great game, but didn't feel as thoroughly polished and suffered from *too* much content, where the game began to feel repetitive and outstay its welcome. Luigi's Mansion 3 strikes a good balance between the two prequels. It's certainly longer than the original but offers much more variety than the sequel but doesn't overstay its welcome. The ghosts have so much personality and all the characters are fantastically animated. My only issue is that the addition of a multiplayer yet again feels like and odd choice for this franchise, but it certainly doesn't feel like any other part of the game was sacrificed to add it.

Another reason why to buy a Switch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Luigi's Mansion 3 is just amazing and just like every AAA Nintendo game, it just shines in every way on the Switch. Looks beautiful, it's very fun and the story is funny and great. Control mechanics are a little different than before but still feels so satisfying when trapping ghost's.

Something different ( sharp picture)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mario is what made nintendo and we can all agree on that. But i actually think is a good thing that nintendo came up with luigi’s mansion 3. The definition in this game in dock mode is out of this word. I played mine on a 70inch sharp aquos 4k and boy I’m i enjoying this adventure game. Actually i will go as far as saying the picture definition in this game is higher than any Mario game i have ever played except Mario cart 8 that game is just one of the most colorfull game on the switch in my opinion. If you want to play something different than Mario for a change, give luigi’s Mansion 3 a try and you not regret it. It’s addicting when you start you’re going to have a hard time putting it down. Plus keep your eyes peels on it because it goes on sale regularly on bestbuy.com. I got mine for $37.99 and did not regret it. I bought it for my kids and end up playing it more than they do...
