This game is so much fun and even better it is a co-op game. My son and I can play together for about 30 minutes a night and have a blast. We are searching for secrets, solving puzzles and capturing ghosts. I have not played previous Luigi Mansion games but my son has many moments of nostalgia as we progress through the story.

I’ve never played Luigi’s Mansion so starting out it seemed a little slow. But now I can’t put it down! What a great game and story!

When I was younger I played through Luigi's Mansion a handful of times and although it was a rather short experience, the game was one of my favorite GameCube games. However, I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan because I never played the second installment.
Luigi's Mansion 3 is an extremely fun game that is both humorous at times and very creative. So far I have had a great time exploring and remembering why I loved the first game so much. Although I feel like the controls are not as fine tuned as I would like, the gameplay overall is still good. The storyline is not anything that will blow you away, but the boss fights and creativity put into each floor will have you hooked.
Just a small tip: I got around some of the control clunkyness by using the back buttons instead of the face buttons. For example, you can use the flashlight by using the right shoulder button instead of A. This helps so you don't need to take your right finger off the camera when trying to use the flashlight.

Luigi’s Mansion was never included along those list of nostalgic titles I played as a kid, but having played this game I am willing to bet every adaptation of the previous game must compare. It’s fun, it’s challenging in ways that make it interesting and urging to come back and enjoy. It’s worth a purchase! Don’t be afraid!

I absolutely loved this game, probably my favorite game I have ever played to be honest. I was a bit hesitant to buy it because it looked kind of silly, just walking around killing ghosts, but it was so fun! I loved the story, I loved that each floor was different, I loved that it wasn’t too stressful but just stressful enough. I really hope they make another luigis mansion 4 because this was so fun!

So, I just played Luigi's Mansion, and wow, it's a blast! From the get-go, I was hooked on the cool, spooky vibes of the haunted mansion. The graphics are killer, creating this creepy yet kind of cute atmosphere. And Luigi? He's hilarious with his mix of nerves and determination.
The game is super easy to get into, and using the Poltergust to catch ghosts is oddly satisfying. The puzzles are just right—challenging but not too frustrating. And can we talk about the ghosts and boss battles? Each one is a wild ride with different tricks up their sleeves.
Exploring the mansion is a trip. There are so many cool rooms, secret spots, and treasures to find. It's like a character in itself. The whole game is this perfect mix of laughs, suspense, and heartwarming moments.

Really enjoying the game. Love the details and story of Luigi's Mansion. Wondering about replayability but visuals and story are so impressive! Even if I only play it one time through. Mind you I haven't had a console since Nintendo 64. Recently bought the switch and some games for my 10 year old son and other kids to play with. They are having a blast. Love the fact that we can go tandem and has multiplayer as well. Fun!

Luigi's Mansion 3 is a pretty fun game. The game is part ghostbusters part old school puzzler game. Sometimes the game reminds me of some of the old puzzlers that I would play back in the 90s.
The game is appropriate for all ages, and my 5 year old enjoys sitting with me to help solve the puzzles. The controls are a little more complex than the average Mario game, so she lets me control Luigi most of the time.

So I haven't played any other Luigi's Mansion except for the GC version and that was wayyyy back when I actually still had a GC.
I saw snippets of game play on this 3rd game and wanted to test it out as it looked a little more interactive and different.
It definitely does not give you the spooky feels like the first game and there are times I wish they stuck little noises or actions like he did in the first (Like when he picked up the key and the music popped up or how he hummed all glumly in a dark room. It's a little more upbeat than the first for sure) But enough on comparison. It is adorable. I haven't even completed it yet and the animations and the art is super adorable. Totally Nintendo-esque and I actually convinced the husband to play it with me.
And he actually enjoyed it even though he spent most of the time laughing at how I enjoyed the corny little cute moments.
That being said, with the Co-op and the small little mini games you can play with others, it's definitely worth a shot to buy on sale if you're not a really big Luigi's mansion fan but want a nice little game to play with others at home.
But if you're a fan of adorable Nintendo art wit Luigi and ghosts on it, then just get it. It's so adorable and the animations for each thing ( down to running away from an enemy) is so cute to watch.
I would wish for Nintendo to tone down the price of their games due to the quality on a big screen, but hey.
That's a whole other story.
Other than that. I liked it. I'm still enjoying it. I play it with the family at times and it's cute/fun. I'm getting some worth out of it each time I turn it on. So its good

I mean it's good but IMO the weakest of the three games. The visuals are amazing for this kind of game; versus something intentionally realistic like Skyrim. The gyro controls from the 3DS are back and to be honest, are a bit aggravating during boss fights, controls feel stiff and slow and I'm having SMB2 flashbacks on getting Luigi to move. The floors of the hotel are unique and give the game the familiar Mario feel of "worlds."
Unfortunately, upgrades as we knew it to the Poltergust are gone. There is exactly one upgrade made to it late in the game and that is only used once in story mode (unsure if it's used while looking for Boos or gems). Boss difficultly seems all over. I had more trouble with the 4th floor boss than the one on the 13th floor.
And no "Mario? Maaario? MMMAAARRRIOOOO!" which probably saddens me the most.

Probably not the game for the current young adult generation. I was 22 when the original Luigi’s Mansion came out and really enjoyed it. Popular game styles have changed too much since then. I played part 3 all the way though to 100% completion and my 10 year old son played it through to the end credits. Has a nerfed mode for kids but it isn’t too difficult without it. If you like colorful, cartoony things. Give this a play through.

First off, I’m extremely satisfied with the staffs knowledge in the game department. They were very helpful and made my shopping experience that much better. Now for the game. The graphics are amazing, the storyline is a blast and the ease of use for the gameplay is superb in my opinion. I highly recommend this title for any Mario or original Nintendo aficionado. Or for those who’ve never played any Mario/ Luigi game before

This is the third installment obviously but it is the most ambitious and fun to date.
It takes place in a hotel with the usual characters Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and the toads. Luigi to the rescue once again.
There is plenty of fun to be had on each floor as you battle ghosts of all kinds and solve puzzles. My favorite floor is the movie studio where you take part in a movie of sorts.
This is about have for any Nintendo fan.

This game is fantastic. I played Luigi's mansion on GameCube launch and fell in love back then. I've also played 2 on 3DS. This is by far the best iteration. I love the local co-op with my kids and single player is just as good. Great puzzles, good progression, kid friendly. I love how each floor has a theme and a unique "story" / progression. Love it!
