Sleek design, love the ease of use, parental controls are a game changer for our house

Fast, reliable, parental controls, easy setup.. that's been my experience with Luma. I highly recommend, esp. the parental controls.

Recently I purchased this cute router to replace my existing broadband router upon recommended by a friend who is already using. I was having slow internet speeds upstairs in my home and streaming movies was so annoying some times. So i was expecting Luma to cover all these issues. Surprisingly Luma did everything with its stunning performance. The installation was very simple and not like typical routers and setup was so easy as I asked my son who is a high schooler to do. The mobile app was very user friendly and I love the features like Pause Internet, Prioritize Device etc. I highly recommend this to any one who is expecting the internet speed to be boosted to the same bandwidth what the provider is offering without any compromise.

I've been very impressed by these so far! I noticed the Luma hexagons are sold individually, but I like this three-router mesh setup! I assume that just one might work fine, since the triangulated mesh network I now have in my house is the best wi-fi I've ever had in any place I've lived, ever. Definitely worth a few extra bucks in order to get flawless signal, intuitive and helpful support, and a quality device that I've been able to set and forget for months now. Awesome job, Luma!

I'm a freelance writer and, admit that Wifi means more to me than it should. I use it for *ahem*research and to communicate with my editors, mainly. But, more than that, I use it in my daily life with streaming, music and our connected devices. Before Luma I had to cross my fingers that my Wifi was going to cooperate. It buffered a lot, dropped and didn't cover parts of my house I needed it to. Ever since I set up Luma, I've been amazed at how fast my wifi has been. To top it off, every single part of my house has wifi!!! My children and grandchildren even like to come visit me now so they can use my WiFi! Now THATS a sign of fast wifi! I will be getting my children and friends this for Christmas!

I tried this product after hearing great things because my Apple Airport Extreme was not strong enough to cover my 2800 Sq Ft house. This system works amazingly well! Not only can I see anyone that is using the system and have the option of kicking them off, I now have lightning fast internet speeds throughout my entire home. I am over the moon happy that technology has finally come to the level of service that I expect. I would recommend this product to everyone I know.

Bought this to get better wifi distribution in a 3 level home in which there is an office in the basement, a workstation in the kitchen on the second floor and gammers on the third floor. Up to this time we have experienced spotty speeds and connectivity. The 3 station setup provided excellent coverage with a minimum of hassles.

Luma set up was breeze and quite automatic. I was not sure about WiFi turn on in first attempt, when LED ring is off. The unit is quite compact and runs cool. The quality of facetime call is significantly better with Luma. I've already set up profiles and using control features to turn off internet at specific device (as this is used by my little one). The packaging is of high quality and delivers great unboxing experience. The product design is great, off white color & finish can be improved. Luma app need some work as I had to restart the app couple of times. This is much better internet experience even with lower bandwidth plan and control features are very impressive. i highly recommended this product.

This product is great and has really improved the Wi-Fi coverage in my house. I love the sleek design, and because of the small size, the actual components blend easily wherever you put them. Very cool product that looks nice, but delivers good functionality as well.

Thank you Luma! My speeds and coverage are so much better with my Luma system. I now max out my download speeds everywhere. We have three computers, four phones, two smart tvs, two fire sticks and an iPad that will all work at the same time. No more complaints about slow loading movies/apps/etc. Pause the Internet is my new favorite button to push too. Awesome product overall!

Very easy set up from start to finish, and have seen great increase in speed since I've set up my Lumas. In a house with 4 people and numerous devices each, I have not had any of the former issues I used to have! Very satisfied.

Internet connection is very fast in every room. No more family fights over who can stream movies, music, sports and YouTube. With luma, the whole family can now enjoy fast WiFi all at the same time.

Luma's app makes it super quick and easy to install. In less than 10 minutes I had the Luma network up, running, and devices connected. I have three young kids who have all have multiple devices so being able to stream data throughout the entire house is essential. My favorite features are being able to pause the internet per device and controlling the content filters for my kids. Luma is a must have for anyone with kids!!!

After doing quite a bit of research, I purchased Luma mainly for two reasons. First, we had quite a few wifi dead spots in our house and second we have three children. The set up was engaging and unbelievably easy and I immediately noticed a difference in the wifi coverage in our home. The second reason I made the purchase might seem a bit odd but when you have parental internet control at your fingertips you'll understand. Its great! Not only can you restrict each user on the system to "G" "PG" or "R" rated content, but you can also put a timer on the internet which can be tailored for each person or child. The more I use Luma, the more I realize its capabilities and security. I haven't owned it for too long but its a success here and I would recommend it to anyone whether or not you have children. After install update: I had to call customer service for an app question and it was a very pleasing experience. I was never placed on hold, which is a huge pet peeve of mine, and I talked to someone either in Georgia or Oregon who was knowledgeable, professional and resolved my problem on the first call. Great job to Luma for not outsourcing technical support!!

This product was easy to set-up and did exactly what we needed. It corrected multiple "dead-spots" in our home and increased the speed of our internet substantially. We have not utilized the parental controls yet but we will. The set-up was easy using the phone app, after 20-minutes of placing the discs and syncing the system we were up and running with faster internet throughout our entire home. I recommended the product to a friend who contacted Luma tech support with a question and he said the tech support person provided knowledgeable, courteous service which is rare these days. If Luma continues to make home products like this count me in!

Once I figured out they sent me a bad ethernet cord, set up was easy. It's a great router for my house. They don't have all of the parent controls that they initially advertised (like individual device controls) but they promise to add them. That's a big reason I purchased this, to try and get a hold on my kids internet usage. I'm hopeful they'll add features quickly. Until then, my wifi coverage and speed are much improved.

We installed our Luma router last week at home and love it. We have a two story + basement home, and we've always had trouble with Wifi being very weak or non-existent upstairs. This issue is now completely gone. I'm not very tech-y and found that installing Luma and getting it working properly was very easy. Highly recommend!!

Luma not only extends my range, but increases my speeds throughout my 3 story town home.

It's a good product, but due to the structure of me home it didn't produce the right speed I have with my provider. My provider I get 180Mbps download and 12Mbps upload with the Luma I was getting any where from 25Mbps-120Mbps download. I think I need more than a three pack, but even at 30 feet away I was only getting speeds of 75Mbps download and 12Mbps upload. I also have a range extender and my modem is dual band so it was a pain to always switch from 4 available networks, and the Luma being the 5th available network I was using the Luma as a 1 network access throughout my home and loved how I didn't have to always switch networks in that concept Luma is good. I prefer or use the 5ghz network as it is less congested and faster, and the Luma doesn't allow you to pick which band to use 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz but Luma is also dual band and I think when I was hitting the lower speeds I might have been on the 2.4Ghz band of Luma. With my range extender I was getting anywhere from 120Mbps-180Mbps for the download speed even in my problem areas in my home where as mentioned I was getting lower speeds at my problem area in my home which is why I probably need more than a 3 pack of Luma's.

Our modem is in the corner of our basement and we had previous issues with connecting to netflix. The installation of Luma was easy and eliminated all of our issues. I was able to set up all three routers within 15 minutes. The application was easy to follow. I would recommend this product to anyone who is having connectivity problems. I am quite certain it will solve your problem. Thank you Luma.
