I work in the local Best Buy Warehouse, which like any warehouse is a demanding environment, and something on your wrist like Apple Watch can very easily get broken if not protected. I previously had the Polycarbonate version of this case, SKU: 7487161, that I had bought at my local Best Buy Store. I had the polycarbonate case for a couple months, and it got very banged up and eventually broke. This doesn't mean that it was a bad case, you buy a case to take the beating for your device, and the case did it's job and lasted a couple months on the wrist of someone who is hard on their electronics working in a demanding job where things like a watch can easily get broken. All it takes it hitting it on the side of the truck trailer accidentally and it's over. This time I opted for the Aluminum Version because I know it will hold up better than the polycarbonate. While the polycarbonate is good, it is still plastic and eventually it will break after taking hits over and over again. Both cases look almost identical, however there are some differences between the 2 versions. For someone like me that is very detail oriented, I see these things and for me they matter, and since they may matter for someone else reading this I am willing to list them. First off is kind of obvious, the metal version weighs more than the plastic, but not so much that it's too heavy to wear. Also the parts on the band are made from the same material as the watch, such as the buckle and the strap keeper post. On the plastic version they are plastic, and on the metal version they are metal. The aluminum version is also shiner than the plastic version, and it also has a little bit more padding on the inside around the watch than the plastic version does. The digital crown button is different. On the plastic version it is a single piece, when you push in the digital crown, the whole piece moves. On the aluminum version it is seperate, so when you push in the digital crown button, the outer piece with the grips on it stays put and only the center moves. The screws on the metal version are black as opposed to the screws on the plastic version. Other than that they are both great cases, and are a must have for anyone that works in a rugged envrionment or simply wants the best rugged protection for thier Apple Watch. I personally think that the price difference for the Aluminum version is worth it, especially for me and others like me that know that their Apple Watches will take hits thorughout the day at work, and know that the plastic version may not hold up. For many others, the plastic version is good enough and is all they need. Many others choose not to wear their Apple Watches in any environment that it can get damaged. The way I see it, if you paid a minimum of $400 for an Apple Watch, you should wear it, and you should spend the additional $60 or $130 to protect it.

Great well made product but unfortunately it didn't work out for me after trying for about 3-4 days. Size of case made caused button on side of watch to constantly be accidentally pressed causing battery issues and was just very frustrating. Work on the design and I'll try again.

I like bulky watches so I purchase this band for my new Apple Watch series 2. It was very sad that it didn't fit my Apple Watch. DO NOT BUY FOR APPLE WATCH 2

. Do not but this case, the split line on the case does not like up what so ever, even if you try to tighten down the screws, you'll have a chance of snapping them off, shop around for a better option

Took forever to put on only to find that it left a big gap between the two halves. The box said it would fit but no matter what we did it would not. Returned it immediately!!!!

Too bulky and awkward To get the watch into. I ended up just returning this item and finding a more convenient and better priced item elsewhere

Return process was the best part of this product. Good luck trying to get the thing to go together while using a tool hex key to tighten it. Who has time to mess with that I don't.

Liked the look of the case and strap but did not like that the band was a silicone band (cloth) material. Was hard to keep the band clean since I use the watch for runs and keeping track of miles. You are not able to switch the bands either without removing the casing. I did like that it did protect the screen from being damaged but was not happy when I had switched my series 1 to a series 2. For some reason the casing would not fit on the series 2. Had to return the product.

I could not get the case to completely screw flush with the body of my apple watch, so I returned the product.

I would of been a good deal but it was to good to be true the screw was missing so I returned it.
