    I have an old house (no neutral wire). I was able to get this switch working manually, however syncing the hub was a nightmare. When googling for a solution I found help that was severely outdated. The iOS app simply would not sync my modem to the hub. Then I read that they had 2 apps and were dropping support to merge into 1. It’s not worth a product that no longer supports their software to coincide with modern network/modem updates.

    We didn't want a extra hub to make the expensive smart switch to work. We returned them and bought the WeMo and they work perfectly with HomeKit

    It works, but a $60 light switch not coming with a wall plate is pretty ridiculous.

We typically do not include the wall plate as there are many instances where the single gang faceplate couldn't be used and would add extra cost for something that gets discarded.     I am very pleased with this purchase. The only downside to these switches is the cost. Also to note - you need a Caseta Smart Hub for this switch to be "smart". Easy installation and setup.
