First step in smart lighting

This was purchased to replace another Lutron dimmer switch that has not been working, it seemed like an opportune time to replace it with a smart device that will work with Alexa and iOS 10. My complaint with the new remotes for the switches is that it is too small and easily lost. But that's also why we bought the smart switch so it will work with Amazon go and our I devices

Well Worth It

The thing that I like the most is that it does not require a hub. I connected them to my kitchen and my living room. I am on a quest to change out all of the switches throughout my home. Lutron is the brand that I am going with. It may seem pricey but it is well worth it.

Works Like A Charm

The app setup was easy, it took a bit of time because it had to update to the latest firmware. I've now just "set it and forget it". Also, connected to Alexa was cumbersome because I had to find out to correct skill to install (Caseta and RA2 Select). I don't use the Pico remote

This switch works great I have it programmed to turn on at night when we are out and also can turn it on when I know someone is coming to the house and I don't have to get up and go to the front wall to turn it on
