Bought this to replace my 2019 MBP (entry model). When using my MBP it would often sound like a jet was taking off even with simple tasks like browsing the web with multiple chrome tabs open. It also got very hot. The MBA does not do any of those things. It does not have a fan, so no jet noises, but also seems to have much more power under the hood to keep it chugging along through the daily tasks. I also am a huge fan of the keyboard in the Air compared to the MBP, the magic keyboard is so refreshing to use after being stuck using the terrible butterfly keyboard for so long. Glad apple decide to ditch that keyboard.

This was a holiday gift for my wife, who is a Apple junky, but has not had a Apple laptop so far. The new MacBook Air with the Apple M1 chip, while there is no comparision of past Apple laptops, does seem to work well, and the speed of the machine cannot be beat for the price of it. While it is still too soon to see whether the M1 is a logical move for Apple, it does seem to beat most of its competition, particularly if the Macbook is used for everyday usage, as opposed to, say a computer gamer or die-hard computer user.

Quality through and through, the awesome design and functionality we expect from Apple products is all there Blazing fast M1 Apple processor, half a terabyte solid state drive. Backlit keyboard with new trackpad features. Having had always purchased iMacs in the past, I was blown away . You have your choice of several exterior finishes, and Best Buy sells a quality snap on plastic protector to prevent scuffs.

Is fast for what I need it for. No issues. Its slim and holds charge for hours

I absolutely love this MacBook M1! Blazing fast, and super lightweight. At first I was a little disappointed that it didn’t have the glowing Apple logo anymore… And that all of the ports were different, but I actually have had no issues making the switch to USB C I have no regrets getting this and will for sure enjoy it for many years!

Awesome battery life, MacOS Monterey is quick and snappy. M1 is no slouch.

The laptop works really well. My daughter is a freshman in college and uses it on a daily basis. The only downfall that I see is that the laptop cracked on the corner by the screen and heard this has been an issue. It doesn't effect the screen but I don't understand why they wouldn't try to fix this if it were a concern and is happening to others.

I upgraded from the 2020 Intel MacBook Air and boy what an upgrade! I should have waited but at the time, I wasn’t informed. It’s fast and quiet (no fan running constantly for just cause). It does what it’s supposed to do effortlessly. An excellent buy especially if you’re new MacBooks or just want a great computer for a good price.

Some programs are not ready yet for the M1 chip but still is a 5 stars product, fast, light weight, fan less, and so many more.

It's the best laptop at its price point. My wife primarily uses this for her school work and content/streaming, browsing the web. The M1 chip can be pushed a bit too. Fantastic battery life and MacOS is great as a whole

Love this computer!! The processor is super fast and it has long battery life. And no fan noise!! I'm very happy with my purchase.

It takes a little getting used to after only having PC laptops. But the colors are so vibrant and the fonts are extremely crisp and easy to read. It's very light weight and it doesn't get hot like my regular laptop. Oh and it's super fast! I think the one down side is it doesn't have the number keypad, that's going to take me a while to get used to. Other than that I think it's a great deal for the price.

This was a gift for my daughter for college for her first year. Not only was it a great price, but it is easy to use and exactly what she is looking for. It’s slim the color is unique and pretty and has a lot of really cool features like recognizing some print and face to get into it for extra added security.

love everything about it! It is beautiful, stylish, sleek, and runs like a dream. My first Mac computer and I couldn't be happier. The sales associate was great and helping me find the best laptop for my needs and guiding me through financing options. I had to special order this color and it was there ready for pickup in less than 24 hours. It matches all of my work supplies (rose gold) and I'm absolutely obsessed with it.

This computer is awesome! Wickedly quiet, lightning-fast and unbelievably lightweight are a few adjectives for this beast.

Very light weight. I enjoyed traveling with it. It works really fast too. I bought it for work.
