The laptop has been enjoyable in its quick boot up, long battery life, enjoyable keypad and sleek design. I’ve been contemplating selling it to go back to windows because the learning curve is HUGE. 3 stars due to trackpad no longer working and it’s been less than 8 months since I bought it and I barely use it once a week; for awhile I didn’t use it for months. I think that is ridiculous and makes me want to sell it even more.

This laptop was a good purchase. I like it very much. Inconviente that you can not plug cords in.

Even after 2 years since launch it is the best laptop under $1000. Now it is often on sale for $799-899. It would be really hard to find anything comparable in terms of quality, durability, power, and battery life for the same price. Unless you are looking for a gaming machine or use some proprietary Windows apps, this laptop is a no brainer

It's really surprising how cool the laptop is when you do light activities (browsing , listening to music, etc). I had no idea that some pages are loading so quick and I think this is related to the M1 processor and the optimizations in the OS.

These new M1 Silicon chip macs are awesome... the are super fast and the battery duration is incredible

Love love love. It was exactly what I needed for my new business. Its light weight, I can carry it with ease around the office.

With the release of the M1, this makes the MacBook Air one of the most useful, more affordable laptops you can buy from Apple. The size is excellent, with it be very convenient and easy to carry around wherever/whenever needed. The fingerprint unlock capability it’s nice to have, and the screen is fine. Nothing fancy, but definitely not bad at all. My only complaint is the utterly terrible webcam and the keyboard. My previous MacBook (2012 MacBook Pro) and Apple wired keyboard feel much more comfortable to type on in my personal opinion. I also use the Logitech MX keyboard, which again in my opinion, feels better then the keyboard on this MacBook Air. Other than that though, still overall happy with this purchase. It’s an even better buy when you are able to get it on sale.

Perfect size and performance for my daughter who is in the 10th grade and has wrote schooling online.

writing this review almost 3 years later, i can say that this was well worth the price, sadly its not in the greatest condition anymore but it still functions as good as the day i got it.

Love it. Great speed and battery life. Perfect for this student.
