I was initially concerned about the sturdiness of the MacBook Air, as I've only used laptops with a larger form factor in the past, but the construction is so solid I feel completely at ease lugging it around in a high-paced work environment. It's a great machine. Fast, solid, and good looking.

The M1 Macbook Air is the perfect notebook for any college student. I use it for taking tests, writing papers, and a little gaming. I love streaming my favorite movies and tv shows on its crisp HD display. The speakers are loud, the microphone quality is superb especially while on Zoom calls. I expect to have this laptop for another 4-5 years, so it's definitely worth the investment.

I'm thrilled with the Apple Air Laptop I bought. Its updated features, exceptional speed, and user-friendly navigation make it a fantastic choice. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, as it has exceeded all my expectations with its performance and ease of use.

If you are into mac then it's perfect if you are a Windows person you will still appreciate the screen, speakers, build and overall feel. The keyboard is just okay and the lack of ports is a joke! The webcam is poor too. Overall though for the student pricing I got, it was a great deal for all the positives mentioned but I don't like relying on a dock for a USB A connection and having a large restriction on Windows-based apps that I use in Parallels because of the M1 chip. But if you are all Apple all the time and in that ecosystem then you are going to love this! Just sign up for student deals and wait for the sale price. Also, the M1X machines are coming but don't wait for the chip bump wait for the chassis changes with more ports if anything.
