Worked great at first, daughter used for homeschool. It was also a Christmas present. Not even 9 months later and turned it on and lines going through screen vertical and horizontal. Took to apple store and they will not cover under year warranty. I have to pay $478 to fix!!! VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE, VERY UNPLEASED WITH APPLE NOT GUARANTEEING THEIR PRODUCT WHEN THE DAMAGE IS NOT ANY FAULT OF OURS

When I order it it was delivered the box was damaged and the screen was cracked I didn’t get to enjoy it I’m really sad I have been trying to get this resolved for 2 years we had to order off line cause were we live at it was no Best Buy store again they never resolved this I been calling in for 2 years an I will not give up trying to resolve this my mother purchased for me to go to college i need help didn’t use it

4 weeks after buying the computer would not turn on. Took it to Apple Store and the tec was unsuccessful in turn on so I had to leave it for a week for further evaluation. Still waiting. Best Buy will no take it back after only 2 weeks which I find ridiculous when you spend so much money on a product

Let me start by stating that I am not an Apple fanboy. I have to use Apple products at work and did not like them. The new MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop with the Apple M1 chip has changed my mind where a laptop is concerned. The build quality of this laptop is amazing and beautiful. The exterior design with a satin-smooth finish and industrial look are very premium. The Space Grey color is gorgeous and does not show fingerprints. I am not great at typing, but this keyboard is a pleasure to type on with a decent amount of travel and a pleasant click to the keys. I can work on the laptop for hours without any issue. That said, the battery life of the MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop lasts all day for me. I have only had a couple of times where I needed to attach the charger before I returned home. I do wish that there was a USB charging port on either side of the laptop but can live with it only being on the left side. I am not a power user, but from simple word processing to video editing this machine blows through any task that I have thrown at it. It has not gotten warm on my lap and cannot believe that it does not have a fan. No matter what I do it does not heat up and there is no noise from fans. Amazing! It truly is a pleasure to use this laptop. I tried connecting the laptop to the two external monitors I have, but it only works with one. I have not been able to find a way to make this work. I could see this being an issue for anyone wanting to use two monitors. You can use the laptop and an external, but that is not the same. If you like the Apple experience, this would be a no-brainer purchase. If you don't know if you would like an Apple laptop, I would suggest visiting a store and to try typing on one. I would recommend the MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop with the M1 chip to anyone.

Coming from the 18' MB Pro, I was somewhat hesitate of "downgrading" to the MB Air; however, I realized I didn't really use the features the Pro was made for (ex: video editing, Touch Bar, etc). I did my research, and really wanted to see what this new M1 chip was all about. I'm glad I did! I traded in my Pro for this beast, and I haven't regretted it one bit. This Air is fast, and loads faster than my Pro did! The only thing I've noticed is the Air's speakers are not as loud as the Pro's but I'm already use to it. All in all, I'm happy I traded it in. The Air is lightweight so easy to carry to class, is not big so easily fits on tables, and the new battery life is amazing. I've had it unplugged and used it at my internship and all evening at home, and I'm still at 80%! All in all, Apple once again did amazing. Just a head's up: I did store pickup, and the M1 chip feature / any M1 wording is not on the box at all. I was worried I didn't get the M1 edition until I got home and powered it on.

**I bought this in store, so I'm not going to show as a verified buyer.** I've used MacBooks in the past; I own an iMac 21.5", AirPods, Apple TV, iPad and iPhone and have been using a w10 laptop for gaming and general use. I had some extra spending money and decided to finally get a MacBook Air, and I'm not disappointed! I've used them in the past, but this is a major improvement from the last I've used. I went with the rose gold mainly because it matches my iPad and honestly, I didn't want to spend 1,300 for another desktop. I wanted this mostly for when I'm out/travel. My only requirements are a good laptop that's fast, loads quickly and is close to what I use on a daily basis. I recently bought an 8TB external drive (tl;dr - my 8 year old external died and I lost all my games for windows which is why I got it), and if space is an issue (I went with the 256 HDD) I'll most likely use that. The Touch ID is going to be incredibly useful and I'm a fan already of the lack of a power button. is it comparable to the 16" MBP? Probably not. That's not what I was looking for. If it was my primary computer I would have considered it, but it's not. It's what I need when I'm away from home. I don't edit photos/video too much, and I don't require as much space as possible. But something I can listen to my music on, stream twitch or YouTube, and have a laptop that's not running into issues more times than it doesn't. it fits my needs, and that's exactly what I got it for. And really, you can't go wrong getting a MacBook for less than $1,100. So 10/10 would definitely buy again. I'll add more photos in the next few days. For now, here's a closeup of the (improved?) This product is horrible! I have an iMac, iPad and iPhone which are all great, but this….this is the worst apple product I’ve owned. I had the laptop next to me on the bed and my 2-year old was climbing up in the bed, so I went to shut my laptop to prevent her from breaking it, instead I broke it! I had my thumb on the front of the screen when I was closing it and I heard or felt (don’t recall) it break under the screen, I didn’t hardly apply any pressure to the screen! It blows my mind that the inside of my computer broke from a light touch! The outside of the screen looks fine, it’s the inside that is ruined. I had it for 11 days and they wouldn’t let me return it. What a joke of quality for $860!

This is such an amazing little laptop. I am coming from Windows 10 which is perfectly fine for desktop/laptop use but this latest update from Apple is hands down the biggest leap in computing I've seen. The battery life is beyond outstanding and is the most I have ever seen on a laptop. No fans and no heat when doing heavy tasks unlike my old Windows laptop which sounds like a jet taking off.
