I tried getting the education pricing at then apple store but to no avail and I was not going to buy a Mac for $1,200. the fact that best buy has the education pricing is beyond amazing and the great perks you receive once you purchase are way more than what I would have received at the apple store.

The only downside I would say is the USB ports, just because it renders all my old cables obsolete.
