I bought my son this laptop for school. He loves it and it is everything it promises to be. Fast and easy to use! Great product!

Apart from being incredibly slim and beautiful, this laptop is also incredibly lightweight, specially compared to the dinosaur I just came from being the MacBook Pro from like 2010. I got the basic seeing as I didn't need to do anything crazy on it, and it over performs on anything I've needed so far. Battery life is incredible as well when not plugged in, and charges other devices quickly. Totally recommend

all I can say is wow!!! I've always been a windows type of person but for this generation I felt that since I already owned an iPhone and the amazing reviews which all point to the great and amazing speed and battery life I caved in and made the jump. I was so impressed at how everything was so seamless that I decided to make the jump and exchanged the air for the pro since I do a lot of photo editing and video clips. although with only 8gigs ram it was more than speedy enough . even gives my ryzen desktop a run for its a money.

my first Apple computer and I'm loving it. Was very easy to set up. Great display. Battery life is great. Very fast.

My first MacBook!! So far I'm loving this laptop for school and for watching Netflix at night. It runs really fast and the battery lasts a while. The only thing I was bummed about was that when I went to pick it up at BestBuy, they gave it to me and the box was scratched up and almost crinkled in the corners. They offered to order another one for me but I didn't want to wait another week to get my laptop because school was already in session, but I appreciate that they were helpful.

Got this computer for my Mom. It is small lightweight and powerful enough for what she is doing to do with it.

I was in the market for a laptop when i went back to school and was using my sister's 2012 macbook air. I liked the size and portability while still being easy to use for my slightly bigger than normal hands. I was between the macbook air m1 and m2 (apple processor). I decided on the m1 macbook air since i didnt like the design of the m2 (the notch, and flatness to the chassis). I also liked that it took the same charger as everything else i have now (usb type c). I got the absolute base model and have overall been happy with it, my only issue woth it has probably been my own fault. That issue is with google chrome and the laptop somtimes slowing down where it gives me the loading image of the cursor. I have sometimes noticed it on some other applications however i attribute it to not turning off the laptop as often as i should and having to many windows/ applications open. The keyboard is one of if not the best out there and the speakers are second to none in the class. Overall 5/5 stars for years to come of use.

Not sure I can say more about the MacBook quality and performance that has not already been said. I will add that with the M1 chip there is not much a reason to look at the MacBook Pro beyond any specific requirements you might have. The Pro will serve those who deal with a lot video editing or resource draining applications. But for those who want a good , fast, lightweight ,and powerful laptop, this is it.

I purchased the MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop - Apple M1 chip to upgrade from my old PC laptop. I couldn't be more pleased. This MacBook Air is lightning fast and feather light. It has no fans so it doesn't get hot. I love the backlit keyboard. The screen is slightly smaller than my old 15.6" laptop, but it wasn't really that noticeable. I highly recommend this laptop.

I needed a new laptop, after my previous MacBook Air I had for 9 years was starting to show its age. I decided to go for the M1 Air because of the price point and performance power. It’s only been a few weeks, but there has been a world of difference. Grateful to BestBuy for the decent price and discount, as well as smooth purchasing experience.

This laptop is a great all-rounder that can handle everyday tasks with ease and also do some light video and photo editing from drone footage. The battery life is excellent, lasting multiple days on a single charge with moderate usage. I'm confident that this laptop will be able to meet my needs for both work and play.

I have had this model since January 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about it! I was initially apprehensive about purchasing due to the price tag, but I had heard so many people speak highly of it, so I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised! I bought it with the purpose of using it for school, so I knew it would be used heavily, and I had concerns about getting a laptop that would actually last me, at least, the duration of my program. In the past, generally, laptops have lasted me MAYBE 2 years maximum, so I am pleased to say it is now January 2024, and it works like a charm even with heavy daily use (writing papers/assignments, taking notes, participating in online classes, downloading and reading textbooks, recording presentations, as well as personal use). I completed my ADN, nursing residency, and almost the entirety of my BSN program thus far with this computer; it's my ride-or-die at this point!

This MacBook Air is everything I wanted. I switched from an HP laptop, and I can’t believe the difference! The speed and the ease of use are terrific. My needs are simple- the ability to use Word and Excel and to surf the net. The M1 chip gives me that and more. My experience with Best Buy and the Geek Squad was also top notch.

The new M1 is all about speed and efficiency. Everything is snappy in the new Big Sur MacOS and it really does feel like you're getting speed that we've been accustomed to on our everyday mobile devices. I think that my expectations were unreasonably high as YouTube reviewers were showing test running intensive applications for photo and video editing and made it seem like the Air could be a full on replacement for intel-based MacBook Pro's. While this is true in small limited tests, I found that in everyday use it could get sluggish here and there when running Adobe's graphic design programs like Adobe XD and Illustrator. This is where maybe the 16GB of RAM option would have been a better buy and make the Air and MacBook Pro comparable. So all in all, I think that if you're just looking for a reliable replacement for an everyday computer the Air is a great option and it blows away the intel-based versions. But as an workhorse laptop for heavy content creation, the 8GB RAM option won't cut it and you'll be kicking yourself for not getting the 16GBs or going up the the MacBook Pro.

Updating from a MacBook Pro 2009, this MacBook Air was just what I wanted and more. The apple silicon is blazing fast. Battery life with the apple silicon is also amazing. I do a lot work on my laptop, but I don't use very demanding apps so I stuck with the base 8gb ram and 256gb ssd.

This was a holiday gift for my wife, who is a Apple junky, but has not had a Apple laptop so far. The new MacBook Air with the Apple M1 chip, while there is no comparision of past Apple laptops, does seem to work well, and the speed of the machine cannot be beat for the price of it. While it is still too soon to see whether the M1 is a logical move for Apple, it does seem to beat most of its competition, particularly if the Macbook is used for everyday usage, as opposed to, say a computer gamer or die-hard computer user.
