If you are looking for something reliable, this is it! I work as an independent insurance agent and it gets the job done fast! I love it! Oh and the battery is GREAT lasts me a good 2 days before I have to charge again. (This is my experience since I use it only about 4 times a day)

Apple has made something extremely special with this first generation of M1 chips. I don't think we'll see the true potential of what their "M" series chips can accomplish, until we've had a few additional iterations. Regardless, what they've done to this point is straight magical. The Macbook air is a powerhouse of laptop computing. I threw everything at the machine I could think of and it never broke a sweat. Try doing half of what is capable here on a similarly spec Windows machine and watch as it crawls along hoping to stay alive. Battery life is stellar and I get tired of using the computer before it ever reaches the need to be charged. At the end of the day, if you've been on the fence about picking one of these up, just go for it.

The MacBook Air with the M1 chip is fast, lightweight, and has amazing battery life. The Retina display is stunning, and the build quality is top-notch. Perfect for everyday use—highly recommend!

I was holding out in hopes of a refreshed 13 inch MacBook Pro without the TouchBar, but then this went on sale for $800 so I figured why not? Definitely worth the price. I mainly use it for web browsing, email, listening to music, messaging and FaceTime calls, and playing games like The Sims 4, and for a laptop with no fan, it runs pretty smoothly. TouchID is also a game changer. I don’t need to many ports on my computer, so I can’t really comment there. If I needed to connect it to my TV or something, I would probably just use AirPlay. Overall, it’s very powerful for a fan-less laptop and the battery life is stellar. I recharge it every 3 to four days.

The M1 Macbook Air is quite the workhorse, in a very compact, light package. The M1 chip is a huge leap over intel chips. The computer is fast, and cool, does not heat up under intense workloads

The battery life and m1 chip are unlike anything ive ever seen before. Upgrading from a Macbook Pro 2019 Intel edition and the difference is very noticable. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the perfect laptop for school and small business needs. It is very fast and the battery life is amazing. And if you’re one for not liking the fan noise, well this is perfect because it does not have a fan.

I upgraded from a MacBook Air 2013 to this MacBook Air M1, it was a great decision. Device boots up very quickly, screen is great, battery life excellent, and price at Best Buy was perfect. The harder decision was justifying the purchase, as I had previously purchased the M1 Mac Mini the day they came out. I could no longer sit a desk, health reasons, so this MacBook Air has permitted the use of the device anytime or place.

Its small, lightweight, and easy to use! navigating set up was a breeze and i love the touch ID!

However, this laptop isn’t ideal for people who edit photos, videos, or otherwise process large media files. Our tests found the laptop would get hot to the touch even after a minute of exporting video or batch editing photos, to levels that would make the laptop uncomfortable to use. But for everyday work tasks, browsing the web, watching movies, and even playing App Store games, the M2 MacBook Air offers a bunch of great upgrades over the previous generation.

Fast and beautifully designed laptop. Battery lasts a long time. Love it!

Lightweight yet sturdy. Ease of use. I'm a fan of macs and this one is as great, actually better than the past three that I've had. I normally update every few years and this was a fantastic Black Friday deal at Best Buy!

I'm using this for personal. I really like the performance, speed and battery life of this laptop.

On first sight the product is incomparable. Sleek design, perfect finishes. I thought that being an Air would wheigh less. The screen lid is super smooth, can be opened single handed. But doesn’t open on its own thanks to magnets. Software wise is a beast. It just that the M1 chip is so new that a lot of old Apps are not running properly. Hardware wise I found that overall is a great performer without any caveat (except for opening large Excel spreadsheets, then it has to convert them). I think 256Gb is a little too low on space. Even though I have an army in of external drives. Everyday apps take too much space and cm easily fill your drive within a month or two.

This laptop is easy to use, lightweight, and fast. I won’t be going back to a PC anytime soon!

Great Product. It is in my opinion very high quality. I did not like the past MacBook Air's as I found them fragile and low quality. Sort of reminds me of a Pro, minus the touch bar and speaker quality. It has a finger print reader that responds well. Very Light Weight. Really like the color options. The M1 Chip is very fast and it is very responsive. Apple has always put out very reliable, secure, and well put together products. Great Product altogether.

I needed a new laptop to upgrade from my 2014 MacBook pro. Hands down the best computer I’ve ever had and after 7 years of school and personal use it was starting to give me battery issues. But that was it, other than that I’m sure I could’ve gotten more years out of it but figured it was time to upgrade. This MacBook Air with the M1 processor is fast and sleek. I love how the space gray finish looks and I know I’ll get another 8 years out of this laptop. There’s a reason why these are priced higher than the others out there and that’s because you get a reliable device. The setup was smooth and the Ventura os is clean. I also bought the Microsoft office suite not M365 (I don’t need to pay the subscription IMO, I’m sure there’s value for others, just not for me). Excel and PowerPoint were the main two I needed and it was easy downloading those in and I got a discount when I bought it with the laptop purchase with Best Buy. Also the battery life is long - I’ve only charged it once and it’s lasted 4 days with roughly an hour use a day. If you are on the fence of buying this take my advice and do it. I bought this one over the M2 versions mainly because I didn’t want to spend more money if I didn’t have to and plus for what I needed it for I know the M1 is plenty.
