We purchased this computer in August of 2023. The password was changed by a vindictive boyfriend right after purchase, and he would not give it to me. We are no longer in contact. I have been trying for almost 1 1/2 years to get access to my computer. Best Buy was no help. I have been working with Apple, and sent them in a copy of the receipt with serial number which they needed to help me recover my access. However, I discovered that my computer receipt from Best Buy printed with the wrong letter at the beginning of the serial number. It has an S and that is not correct and does not match the box it came in. The serial number on the box is correct. Because of the wrong first letter in the serial number, Apple will not assist me in restoring access to my computer. I have found out that it's not only my computer that had the wrong letter on the sold receipt, but many, if not all of this model, have the wrong first letter on the receipt and does not match the box. Purchasers will not be able to restore their computers if there is a problem and this is not addressed. Best Buy has refused to issue a corrected receipt even though there is no Mac computer model assigned to the incorrect serial number or rather the serial number starting with an S. It is all an error on the part of Best Buy, and they will not fix it. Because of this I am unable to use the $700+ Mac I bought from them almost 1 1/2 years ago. Not happy!!!

I wasn’t sure about switching to Mac, but enjoying it so far. I love how this laptop is compact.

I had to return the laptop. Not sure what was wrong with it. It kept freezing and wouldn’t let me sign in. I have bought many other products from Best Buy and always had good luck but this laptop was not good for me. Best Buy always gives good service and took the laptop back and refunded me. I will continue to buy all my electronics and appliances there. Thanks to their team for all their help.

Our MacBook Pro is 7 years old, and this MacBook Air is taking its place. So far, very pleased.
