Extremely lagging

I'm a college student and use this computer solely for that. After every semester, I delete folders and files, leaving next to nothing on this computer, so the memory shouldn't be an issue, but it still lags like crazy. Pages on Quizlet will slow the whole entire computer down. Messages always appear at the top of the screen that the page is using significant memory and closing it will improve the responsiveness of the Mac. It always restarts due to problems, specifically when charging. Says it's due to a "panic". Sometimes, when searching safari, I can't click on links or edit my search, leaving me stuck with chrome. Extremely annoying things happening for the latest model that cost me $1k. Will never buy an air again. Go with the pro
