Purchased for grad school student. Does exactly and what they needed. It was time for a upgrade from Microsoft.overall its a plus

After several weeks on the M1 MacBook and 30 years of using Mac desktops and laptops, I can say that to this point, this is their finest combination of value, performance, and build quality. The jump in speed at startup is dramatic. The speed of all the processing tasks I draw on -- no gaming, no moviemaking, nothing hardcore -- is improved over my 2020 MacBook, and it has yet to crash or get hung on the dozen desktop applications and cloud platforms I use most frequently. So far, everything has worked seamlessly. And the battery lasts longer, too -- I've yet to go fewer than 11 hours on a single charge, with more-or-less constant use. (Again, nothing terribly intensive though.) The Retina screen is a noticeable upgrade, a mercy for these old eyes, and the action on the keyboard feels just right: responsive but not too sensitive, with just the right amount of resistance. Couple all this with Apple's unparalleled reputation for reliability and I can't imagine a better laptop, at least for someone who's not a power user. (Bonus: the space gray is a handsome thing.)

The battery lasts only about 4 hours and I'm only using Microsoft word.

I just bought the laptop 17 days back and now price dropped by $100 and Best Buy is not adjusting price to match their own current price. Every other store lets you do the same except Best Buy. If prices drops next day customer should be able to get adjustment for the price.

Bad deal ! I had a Mac Pro before which a much better machine Don't buy this lap top not easy to handle and lots of issues with updating and the e mails etc...HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Returned and bought a dell. Nice computer but limited for work. Lacks the capability to use Word document without purchasing the app.

I have used touchscreen products so long that I automatically assumed this had a touchscreen and when it didn’t I immediately returned it for that reason alone.

After using just over 3GB of memory, an error message pops up stating you’ve run out of memory and forces to close applications. Very disappointing and not worth trying to save money on minimal memory.

Ok Computer, but did not come up with any of the windows programs . Won’t be buying another one in the near future

I bought this computer a little over a month ago and one of the charger ports is already not working. Very frustrating since it is not a cheap purchase.

I always wanted an Apple, but I hated it…no mouse..and totally unfamiliar with it. Thought it would be just like an IPad, but no. Returned it and purchased a Dell All In One.

Charger is finicky, for the amount it cost I would hope they’d sent a better charger but luckily battery life is good

Lasted a year was strictly using it for school. The keys stuck A LOT. Now corrupted after a current upgrade I did.

The initial sales person was so into over selling she missed key parts of the sale rewards . Spoke with store manager….

Was a great computer until it wasn’t. It started to freeze using certain programs and then one day I open it and my entire screen has a glitch in it. The pixels distrorted down one side and slowly got worse and worse until I could no longer use it at all.

The MacBook I brought arrived quickly but when I opened the box it smelled musty. Both the MacBook and the charger smelled that way for several days.

My Mac died after 3 uses. I have windows machines that work better and last longer. I own other Apple products but who can afford to speed this much money, time and again on a paper weight.

I buy the higher price. I want to return but I can’t.

overpriced for the "apple" experience. getting anything windows related around the same price and you will so much more pc for your money.
