Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely dissatisfied with this product. I purchased this without insurance because I've been a long time customer of Apple and their products are usually very reliable. Very different in this case.

Silly proposition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MacBook Air is a product that should not exist. There is iPad and there is MacBook Pro so this one a silly proposition is sillier in between those two. Just don’t make it and don’t sell it.

Its been great since its Release Date and Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What the purchase of this MBA M1 comes down to is use. I use my MBA M1 as my daily work device. My workflows include using Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and the Safari browser. The apps I just listed are apps I always have open on my MBA M1, and I have them all open at the same time. This is the best laptop I have ever owned. Reasons are: 1. No Fan Noise 2. Can use some ios apps on the MBA M1 3. It's efficient and fast 4. Offers the best value for the money 5. The Apple ecosystem Let's talk about that last one. If you have an iPhone, Apple laptops are your go-to device. The reasons are continuity, iMessage, AirDrop, and wifi sharing. I love the fact that my iPhone and Laptop speak very too each other. I love that I can share files through AirDrop and that they are transferred at the same quality from where they originated. I love that I can start something on my iPhone and finish it on my laptop at the exact point where I left off on my iPhone. Lastly, sharing Wifi between each other through a hotspot is a breeze, especially for when you are on the go like myself. Lastly, I love that there is no fan noise. The MBA M1 never gets hot, I can be completing my work on my lap sitting on my couch and my lap does not get uncomfortable because of the heat coming from my laptop. However, if you are a heavy gamer, graphic design, or 3D rendering, you will see some throttling due to the lack of a fan that would allow the laptop to work longer at higher loads. I would recommend this device to anyone needing either a work from a home computer, college students definitely, and of course professional workers who need something powerful and light.

Frozen computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have already had to exchange this computer twice due to it freezing and acting up. Never was offered anything else except to exchange it. I had to take it to Apple and have them fix it. This is unacceptable

Excellent Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast laptop, a little smaller than my previous MacBook air but not a big deal. It is much faster, it can handle 4K videos from a GoPro, something the previous chip could not do. A little more storage than my older mac but still need an external drive if you have a lot of pictures or videos. It only has USB C ports so it needs an adapter for the more popular USB connectors.

Awesome!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the M1 MBA for the last two days, and I can honestly say that it has been the best Laptop experience I have ever had. The base model feels quick in animations, opening apps, and just the overall experience. I have owned a MacBook since 2015. Each MacBook I have owned since that time have all been 8GB Ram variants. The base model MacBook Air is the fastest laptop of all time. The battery is also awesome, I haven't changed it since owning it.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am giving this 1 star because Apple did not publish that M1 chip cannot support 2 external monitors. Intel chip does. After so many years of being a loyal Mac user it’s time to get PCs again for my family.

Apple M1 Chip---Same old.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slow machine Below-average battery (not at all as advertised). For basic stuff, I got 4 h. Poor pixelation So-so keyboard (it feels cheap) I would qualify this as a mid-range laptop at most.

The Perfect Laptop for Students
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Air is one of, if not the best laptops, on the market. Recently, I made the transfer from Windows to macOS; I love the clean and simple look I'm used to seeing on my iPhone. When I turned on my Dell laptop, it took two minutes to reach the login screen. With my MacBook, it only takes seconds to get to the login screen. The MacBook maintains its quick speeds when I open applications, making it easy to navigate between applications. One of my favorite features is the split-screen feature, which allows me to multitask with ease. If you are a student, Apple offers a $100 discount on several of its products, and it even comes with a free pair of AirPods, which usually retail for $159. As for the laptop itself, I have come to appreciate how light it is, especially in comparison to my Windows laptop, which took an effort to carry around. It is certainly easier to carry my laptop around campus. The battery life is also a bonus. Since I’m a student, my screen time is roughly 5-7 hours a day, and the battery usually lasts me two days. The only con is the price. While I love Apple products, I do wish they were less expensive. If you are in the market for a new laptop, I recommend looking into the MacBook Air. It is a reliable laptop that features a sleek design and an incredible battery life.
