Perfect model for students

Purchased this for my younger brother in college who needed one ASAP. Though it's a starter line from Apple's ecosystem, this computer is built like it's future proof. Faster than the one I had when I entered college and much more reasonably priced. For a person just doing their schoolwork and browsing the web, you can't ask for much more than this model.

Longevity of macbook

I use this MacBook for web browsing, emails and files and it is solid for that type of use. I tried some coding (Intellij) and it falls short but that is not what I bought this one for.

I've used it for just about everything and more i recommend if you get it and aren't a heavy user this is the the best thing since sliced bread it last and its still going as it should be

great grad school laptop

I was initially worried that 256GB wouldn't be enough but after transferring my files and downloading all the applications I need I still have over 100Gb free. I bought an external drive to transfer things to occasionally, much cheaper than paying apple for extra hard drive space.
