I was previously utilizing a much older and slower laptop and had to make the upgrade and I am so glad I went with this Macbook!

Worth it

They use their laptops for school work and this provides the speed they need. Storage is ok for now because the boys use online tools (administered by school) for all school work, which is where their documents are stored. Love that I could get this entry level Mac for their school and leisure time. It was worth it to pay a little extra to get a device that will work for a long time.

Although not as fast as the new and outstanding M2 MacBook Air (which finally has a better camera), this is still a reliable, speed demon for general work and internet at a more affordable price point (and it's often now on sale).

I bought it on sale saving $250 which was great. I use a MacBook Air at work so having a similar laptop for personal use made sense. It does everything I need it to.

I love that apple went back to their old keyboard since i tried the butterfly switches of the previous models and wasn’t a fan. It serves me well for my day to day activities and school work.

Intel needs to be scared and for good reason, seeing how great the performance on this erased all doubt of why Apple jumped ship and went in house to make their own CPU, because they do it better. Apple please update the design as this is a monster performer in a ho hum body design.
