Runs well

Initially took a bit to get used to with minor things being different. Can't say much about the Touch ID since I haven't set it up yet. Overall no complaints so far.

The trackpad works flawlessly. You learn the gestures and they work every time. I would definitely recommend it if you are a student I just someone doing every day task it is super.

I am very impressed with the new M1 chip MacBook Air. There's no need in buying the 13 inch MacBook Pro now--they have the same processor. Far and away the best MacBook Air ever--highly recommended!

Great upgrade from my 11" from 2015

Everything works much better, faster, but I seriously didn't wish to change because I was used to my old one, but my fear was my 11" would go up or have some kind of "death" before having a chance to get a new one. I'm happy I didn't wait to do so. No regrets.

Good teacher machine

Using Chrome allows for designing student projects to be done on Chromebooks. If working virtually it does have limitations: running hardwired external TV screen while presenting video over a Zoom is too much (using Air Cast is better).
