So much better than the old MacBook. Faster. Smoother.

I love this macbook air cheaper, it almost same work with macbook pro and it’s way cheaper. The battery last for more than a week if you don’t use it often. Highly recommend this. It is also best gift for someone.

Apple introduced their M1 chip this past year. The chip is definitely solid performer, but I expect that this 1st generation chip will fade quickly from memory as new iterations are released. Besides the M1 chip, this MacBook Air design has been around for awhile and has proven track history. Although Apple has recently returned to the more dependable keyboard switch design, the rest of the computer feels a bit dated. It is my hope that the next release MacBook Air will finally include an updated design with options for faster processor, more RAM, additional USB-C ports, and the return of the MagSafe power.

New to mac. There is a learning curve for sure. Resources make it easy. Im realizing Apple sets the standard. I am so glad I switched from Microsoft. Super impressed with speed, apps and protection. Never going back!

Capable for most all teacher tasks. Using Chrome allows for designing student projects to be done on Chromebooks. If working virtually it does have limitations: running hardwired external TV screen while presenting video over a Zoom is too much (using Air Cast is better).

This was a replacement for an Air almost 5 years old and usable to be upgraded to the new operating system. Works predictably and easy to transfer files and apps. Larger screen and several new features Very pleased.

The computer I purchased works great now. There were some glitches and the store manager (Joseph in the Thousand Oaks CA store) was great and very supportive and was able to resolve the issues. The "Geek" department has much to be desired and needs an attitude adjustment. I think they forget that their role is to be supportive.
