I had several HP Pavilions, which were less expensive because I couldn't justify spending more than $500 on a laptop at the time. When I bought a Mac instead, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love this laptop.

Great performance and synced with everything on iCloud. Takes some getting use to the green/yellow/red buttons to expand/minimize/close the pop up or whatever is being done. Happy with the product so far. Only negative would be that I wish the screen was a little larger.

Best Value In Laptops

Got this during a sale and Best Buy always comes through with those once in a blue moon crazy deals. Still offering 256gb as base memory and 8gb is rather paltry, even though the M1 is fast, would've wanted a bump up in SSD and RAM.

The device runs smoothly, and typing on the keyboard is comfortable. My feature of the MacBook is the combability with my other apple products.
