Haven't had time to figure out all the features, but it looks and feels amazing so far. It runs everything I've tried to run really well. Video and photos look stunning on the screen. And it feels really smooth when typing. The limited ports is kind of annoying, but I got an attachment that works pretty well for when I need to use anything that's not a USB-C.

This MacBook is so close in performance to the new M2 model that the average user would not be able to see a difference. The only real difference is the M2 is slightly brighter and has a little more screen if you don't mind a notch.

I thought that I would be a PC lover for life; until I purchased the MacBook Air. I am enjoying the layout of the apps, the launchpad, the OS system. The screen resolution is perfect for my photo editing. I'm very impressed with the speed of the computer as well. I've only had the MacBook Air for three weeks but I see myself being a Mac user from now on.

Great laptop! Lightweight, easy to operate. I was replacing a 11 year old MacBook and hope this one lasts as long as the previous model did. The only thing that is taking some getting used to is being able to read the font on this smaller display - my eyes aren't as sharp as they were a decade ago.

PROS: 1. This is a great laptop for students or individuals in the workforce who don't want to lug around a large, heavy unit. 2. The screen resolution is amazing. 3. The speed is excellent with the M1 chip. 4. The keyboard is much easier to use for folks with average-sized hands and fingers. CONS: 1. As usual with an Apple product--price (although the student price on the MacBook Air 13.3 isn't too breath stopping). 2. LACK OF PORTS for peripherals! I think this is a way for Apple to gouge the buyers of their laptops and tablets. You have to spend $$$ for peripherals in order to use Lightning/USB items you already have if you need more than 1 port. 3. A free set of equivalent Microsoft Office programs is loaded with the latest OS, however, if you want the original MS Office suite, you have to get the Home and Business version in order to get Outlook. (More $$$) 4. By the time you add up the cost of the laptop, peripherals, additional software, and taxes, what seemed like a good deal really isn't. Thanks for nothing Apple.

Lightweight, packable and great for work. Fast, efficient, and practical.

The M1 battery life destroys the competition. It is also fast and fluid.

Absolutely love it! I don’t use my computer for a lot of things other Han maybe paying bills and browsing the internet. Works for me!

For me personally, I exceed all my expectations, it is a very functional laptop, in addition to being ergonomic and very well worked in the details at the level of hardware, software, design, if you ask me, I recommend it 100%.

After five years, my wife's old MacBook Air was running into performance issues during her 20=tab Chrome browser multitasking work day, The M1 MacBook is fast, compatible, and a bit of a deal with the new models on the way and I don't hear as nearly as much cursing from the behind the home office door anymore.
