I've had my last MacBook Pro for the past 5 years but it's was time to upgrade. The M1 processor really makes a difference. And the price was the best for this model.

Reviews regarding performance and battery life are mostly correct, though it's highly dependent on what you're running. Definitely capable of lasting all day (8 to 10 hours) while having dropbox, terminal, a web server, a text editor and chrome with 20+ tabs. I can get it to slow down every now and then if I have video running, an external monitor, compilation along with the above, etc. all going, but slowdowns are fairly infrequent. 8GB version seems ok, but I end up with 5 to 6GB of swap with the workload described above.

Been using this computer for over a year now for college. Have had no problems with. It’s very easy to navigate and I love how you can connect it to your phone

This Mac does EVERYTHING I need it to do! I can watch an online movies, or YouTube tutorials while using my Cricut program, or Canva program. Perfect!

I am so glad I finally made the leap and purchased a non-Windows laptop. It jist works, no issues, no freezing, no headaches. Ironically, all of the Microsoft applications run better on this Mac, way better than the Surface Pro it replaced.

I LOVE this Laptop. I had a MacBook Pro for years that I loved and then bought a Lenovo, but I didn't LOVE it. So when I found this little gem on sale-I snatched it up!

I like how this new MacBook Air runs, which is much faster working than my old MacBook. I'm amazed that I can get things through asking Siri ! I only use this laptop to get emails , hold my photos and to use for zoom meetings.

Been an Apple fan and buyer for years! Love their products, including this MacBook Air M1 chip. Didn't need the new M2 chip so saved a few bucks with the older M1 chip. Nothing lost in my opinion.

Honestly best and simple computer for my mom who I originally got it for and she loves it still but with the M1 chip I can play games on it too works great

This MacBook is powerful enough for 90% of people using computers. Great choice for the money. Probably the most powerful laptop at its price point.

I really like my new laptop a great deal. It’s so user friendly & I had no problems at all getting all my info transferred from my old laptop to my new one.

Purchased a new laptop to replace a 7-yr old model. Best Buy handled everything in the replacement with transfers, etc. uploading programs excellently. It was most seemless.

Very happy with MacBook. The software and hardware works together very well. Super fast boot up and overall laptop is really fast.

This laptop is excellent! Screen resolution is phenomenal! And speakers work very well! Also laptop is super speedy, startup takes about 10 seconds.
