She would rather have a mouse than use the pad to move on the screen, so we are looking at getting the wireless mouse also.

The battery life is absolutely amazing. Wasn’t expecting it. Couldn’t pass up the $250 off MSRP, and I’m glad I didn’t.

Very responsive and great quality. The M1 chip makes the MacBook Air a very capable laptop for things you’d expect a laptop to do.
