Laptop is very light and sleek looking. The screen is also very hd looking. Just don’t like that you have to do a lot of keyboard shortcuts to do certain things.

Excellent performance and battery life at its current reduced price it is almost a no brainer.

I bought this model about 6 months ago (October, 2022), and the screen has cracked from the inside. I went to the Apple Store to see about my issue because the laptop didn’t fall or have any sort of water damage so I was confused as to why it cracked for no reason. These laptop screens are VERY FRAGILE and I was told that dust trapped within the closed laptop could cause a crack such as the one my laptop has. Without applecare I will have to pay $600 just to replace it when I did nothing to cause for it to crack. Mind you, the laptop has a screen cover, keyboard cover, and a case.Also, we weren’t told that this laptop was that fragile to this extent when we purchased it so just be warned.

This was a great purchase I Love the gold color it’s easy to carry around shipping was fast setup was very easy and I love everything about Apple products would definitely recommend.

Overall the performance is way better than what I upgraded from (chrome books and minimal function type laptops), the general user friendly nature of it is *awesome*, many great perks. My only qualm- For being as well spoken of and highly regarded- I expected *more* in performance such as...being able to handle a few+ internet tabs open, adobe acrobat with a decently dense code in it, some Microsoft apps, and idk, maybe other small things...but alas- it often times "pre-crashes" on me? Where it prompts me to force-quit apps to prevent failure, etc. I bought this...so that would stop happening! Guess I need an even *bigger* 256SSD/8GB Memory/Everything- Not enough!? o.O I'm not running any crazy programs or whatever, I'm a pretty simple PC/MAC user honestly. The most complex is the occassional PDF with JavaScript (I'm new to it- idk anything about it), or playing with Dreamweaver like a kindergartener would, to using Roll20 and Discord with background tabs sitting there and various other "resting" pages chilling there. Oh well, guess I'll wait/suffer another 5-10 years to get another upgrade xD

Apple has yet again exceeded my expectations...this bad is incredibly fast, extremely portable, and has a powerful processor. Extremely satisfied! Also, Best Buy delivered extremely quick!

Love it! This is my second MacBook Air - my original had a screen problem that began just days after my purchase, and grew to a nearly impossible view after a few months. Best Buy told me that the screen had a small crack in it. I did NOTHING to cause this - it never left my home office once! Unfortunately, I was told that I need to deal with Apple in order to get refunded/made whole, which is quite disappointing. It’s always easier dealing with Best Buy than with Apple! But I understand the logistics of Apple, and I will fight it out with them. In the meantime, I purchased a new one with the M1 chip along with a protection plan this time! The techs were great!

It's a great, light weight Airbook. AND the battery holds a charge for days on end! My only complaint is that the volume isn't loud enough during playback of streamed movies. OK, I guess that might actually be this old lady's hearing......

I had a MacBook air before and liked that one, but it was time to upgrade. The new MacBook Air boots up quickly, has great battery life and is super fast.
