A lot of technology is not available for the M1 chip now. You need to use Rosetta2 with Intel chip technology. If you are not in rush, waiting can be a better option. Super silent, no heat issue, the screen is nice, really fast. Battery life is impressive. If you wanna use development or design, I don't recommend it.

Absolutely love my MacBook Air 1 !!! It's taken me awhile to learn the ins and outs of it because it's definitely like the regular computers. So I'm still learning. My iPhone and iPad sync up with it which is what I really like. It's responsive, fast and cool to look at. I have the gold color and looks rich! What I don't understand I Google or use uTube. I'm very happy with my choice!

Excellent laptop and the price was well worth it. Very slim and I take it on the go with me. Charges very fast and its ready to go.

I am loving my new MacBook! I've been using Macs for about 20 years and this one is super fast, the perfect size, and has everything I need to work on the go.

It’s a perfect size for what I need to use it for and so light weight that I never find myself getting fatigued from it sitting in my lap or carrying it around. I’ve never had a MacBook before but have Apple everything else. I will say of course there is a bit of a learning curve making the switch from PC but I couldn’t be happier. My only issue is I can’t for the life of me figure out how to stop it from going to sleep so flippin fast.

I was going to wait for the next MacBook, but after trying this out at the store it was better than I thought. I was surprised how fast it responds and it dose everything I needed it to do. This M1 chip is quick.

Great price for Apple. The battery last all day and the best part is how seamless it is to switch from my phone to the MacBook.

Bought this for my wife since I already own an m2 MBP - she loves it and for $799, cant beat thr price. More than enough power for what she needs it for.

I love this laptop! The base model MacBook Air M1 is a surprisingly capable machine. I run multiple programs on it daily (VS Code, Excel, Word, OneNote, Spotify, Messages, Maps, etc. etc.) and the performance is remarkable. It is also exceptionally quiet and cool. Coming from Windows laptops, I didn't know if 8 GB of RAM would cut it, but I haven't had any issues at all. The hardware is very high quality too - beautiful screen, sturdy build, and a responsive touchpad. Highly recommend it!

I bought this laptop for my wife as a anniversary present and she loves it. For the size and weight and price it is a amazing above starter laptop for anyone who wants to stay connected using Apple I highly recommend this laptop.

I have no idea how to use this thing but it seems to work. I wish Apple didn't charge so much for memory though. I'm only giving the speed a 4 because my gaming PC is faster. The MacBook is still really fast.

Such a great computer - so thin and light. I am obsessed. Amazing battery life. I go 4 days without charging (after I work for 2 -3 hours and shut down each time)

I was very happy with this purchase. At the time I was at he store, I was able to talk with an associate about this and the comparison between all the Macbooks that were on display. There was another customer interested in this and find that, it is easier to get this one since I mainly will use it for music, surf the web, and very basic functions. I love how fast it is and there are no lag. I recommend this to someone who only needs the basic functions of a regular user, instead for someone who video/pic edits and making movies.
