Amazing Budget Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M1 MacBook Air is an amazing machine, fast transfer speeds, snappy interface, runs incredible for a fanless design, my only complaint would be the 8GBs of RAM, still the performance for the dollar is insane. Great buy with the deals frequently only sellers sites. Pull the trigger if you need a great computer & you're on a budget.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using my MacBook Pro for over a year now, and it's been a fantastic experience. For personal use, this device has been incredibly reliable and powerful. The Retina display is stunning, offering sharp and vibrant visuals that make everything from streaming videos to browsing the web a real pleasure. The build quality feels premium, and I appreciate how compact and lightweight it is, making it easy to carry around. The performance has been exceptional. Whether I’m multitasking or running more demanding applications, it handles everything smoothly without any slowdowns. The battery life is impressive, lasting long enough for most of my daily tasks without needing to plug in constantly. One of the things I love most about the MacBook Pro is how seamlessly it integrates with other Apple products. Everything from syncing with my iPhone to using AirDrop works effortlessly, which makes managing my digital life so much easier.

Really good, base model is enough for most
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I'm really happy with this little laptop. Oh, It's extremely over hyped by Youtubers beyond belief. For regular buyers, expect that it will operate and update like it should with little fuss, and demonstrate excellent battery life. It outperformss my older Dell XPS 13 for daily use in every measure. I only wish it had more ports and looked more modern instead of the 4 plus year old design it's flashing. Compatibility has been good but not perfect with non-optimized M1 apps but that's to be expected. I think translation has been working remarkably well so far. The biggest gripe with this machine is how unupgradeable it is, and that it loses bluetooth connection with my keyboard and mouse constantly. I literally sit and watch the bluetooth connection blink on and off in my preferences as I'm working, it's unacceptably unstable.

Gets The Job DONE!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.M1 is no joke, love the middle of the road price point that I got it at, makes this Macbook is a great value if you are looking to upgrade to something recent. It’s snappy and quick at loading all of my graphic design programs. Yeah. All of them. At ONCE. Recommend if you’re interested in getting a recent MacBook for the new modern components but aren’t looking to break the bank

fast computer
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never owned an Apple computer but I love this one. I use it for my cricut projects and it is lightning fast. It is light when taking places and overall I would purchase again. I have not had any issues and I have had it 22 months. Battery life is still great. A full charge last about 4 days with me using it for a couple hours each day then leaving it on and closed. Just bought my first IPad, super excited.

An Apple Convert
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to say I would never purchase an Apple computer since I was a very devout Windows user, however I have no regrets with this purchase. Very sleek, quick, and a beautiful display. The battery lasts for quite a long time - I only have to charge once every other week. If you love Apple products and want something that is lightweight and easy to take with you, this is definitely the right product for general personal uses. If you are wanting something more for editing, etc., the MacBook Pro would probably be a better option than this. However, this is perfect for work/school, The gold color is also a perk (it looks a bit rosier in-person than photos online).

Don’t worry, these are incredible machines!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mine is replacing my 2015, 15” i7/16GB/1TB which is still running well - but my son has more of a need for the I/O options than speed. And it’s amazingly fast still today but Wow! This little Air weighs nothing - holds the apps (Adobe CC/MS/Dropbox) necessary… With their storage or folder is a 2TB Samsung T7. I bought the $849/$899 model and the performance is stunning, even using Rosetta, it’s incredibly quick to launch, find, edit, and anything else I throw at it - and never seems to run out of battery lol I bought as a stop gap as mentioned, for my son and as a holdover as I wait out the new 16” MacBook Pro announcements later this year Not so sure I need to (it’s the fastest stopgap I have ever seen!)

Absolutely love it!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Air 13.3" stands out with its sleek design and impressive portability. The Retina display offers vibrant visuals, though the glossy screen might cause reflections in bright environments. Performance is commendable for everyday tasks, but resource-intensive applications can lead to slowdowns. The keyboard is comfortable but takes getting used to. Overall, it's a top choice for those valuing style, portability, and decent performance.

A solid notebook with a dated design
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally purchased this same MacBook Air (MBA) but with 512GB of storage. It's the same exact unit. I liked it so much I purchased this one for my wife. She didn't need the extra GPU core or storage space. Overall, she has enjoyed this notebook more than the Wintel system we previously had. Apple's battery life estimates are more accurate, they're actually a little on the conservative side. Our previous Wintel systems (Dell XPS 13 2-in-1) were advertised with 14 hours of streaming battery life. The only way to hit that number was to turn the screen brightness down to 25%, turn off Bluetooth, flipping the screen around so the keyboard and trackpad were off, putting the system into power efficiency mode, and using MS Edge or the Netflix app (which limits streaming to 720p in Windows). Even then we couldn't ever fully get the 14 hours of advertised battery life and that was with 1080p notebooks. The MBA has a higher resolution display, a processor that performs better than the 11th gen Core i7 CPUs in our other units (that also had 16GB of RAM), and we can easily push 15 hours of real-world use with our systems. We no longer must bring a charging brick wherever we go. The battery life is longer if you just stream video content or play videos that have been downloaded. Another surprise with the MBA was the speaker quality. I'm not sure what Apple is doing but their speakers are better than what's in most 17" notebooks. The speakers in our previous 13" system were terrible, these put those to shame. Apple also put a faster SSD in these. Writing and reading large files take less time, the SSDs in our MBAs are almost 3X faster than our other systems (which were more expensive). The webcam is passible, I wish it were better. The image processor in the M1 helps with that though. Everyday performance with the 7 GPU M1 is fine, even for mobile gaming. macOS can now run iPad and iPhone apps, if the developers unlock them, and we haven't had any issues with that. 8GB of RAM is more than enough for everyday use with the M1. Even when we are stressing our systems, they only use 6GB of RAM. My only complaint is that the design is dated. It's essentially the same design that Apple released in 2018, just with a better keyboard. You get the same two USB4/TB3 ports, the same display, the same trackpad, the same physical webcam, and a better keyboard. I wouldn't normally have any issues with a classic design but it's almost 4 years old now and it has been cloned to death. Every other major PC maker has released a notebook that's a silver, dark gray, or gold slab of aluminum. I want color again with my PCs, like the old iBook G3 days. Even a white system would be different than the same three colors Apple has stuck with for far too long. The screen bezels are large, and the system is begging to be updated with a 14" display. Slimming the bezels while keeping the same form factor would allow for a 14" display, like Apple did with the 14" MacBook Pro. But, for the price of the system, it's hard to beat. The price-to-performance ratio of the baseline M1 MBA isn't matched with Windows notebooks and you get the added benefit of running macOS on Apple's hardware. It's powerful enough for photos and video editing yet efficient enough to last all day. This fan-less design is great and I'm excited to see what Apple does next.
