Solid!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great part time laptop. I wish Best Buy would offer the 16G ram model but if it were that big of a deal breaker for me I would have just bought it from Apple. Solid Apple product that is amazing especially if you’re living in the Apple ecosystem. Files transfer very easily from phone to iPad to iMac to MacBook. Thin design and they have plenty of adapters for ports and such. The M1 chip is great, can’t see too much performance difference from that and the intel chip in my iMac 27.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It takes a little getting used to after only having PC laptops. But the colors are so vibrant and the fonts are extremely crisp and easy to read. It's very light weight and it doesn't get hot like my regular laptop. Oh and it's super fast! I think the one down side is it doesn't have the number keypad, that's going to take me a while to get used to. Other than that I think it's a great deal for the price.

Great computer for everyday carrying and use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer. Easy to carry, good battery life, and perfect for all the normal little things like email, Internet, Google Docs. Durable and reliable. And the newer chips are even faster than this M1!

Small Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first MacBook since I wanted to try something new, I read reviews and watched videos about the current model M1 chip. Compared to the previous laptop I bought (Envy 360x i5 256gb 8gb ram) The Macbook blew it out of the water. The batter life is absolutely amazing and it’s speed beat the envy in terms of software like Clip studio and illustrator as well as portability! All in all it’s a great laptop, it will take time to get use to if you’ve used only PC before

Get the 13" M1 MacBook Air Before They Disappear!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be happier. Long-time Mac and current 27" iMac user here, and after reading tons of reviews on the current (M1) line, it was pretty clear that the 13" M1 MacBook Air was the right choice for me in terms of power, portability, and price point. I had an 11" MacBookAir years back that I loved, and I love this one even more. Best Buy was great... my new Air came right away, much faster than other shops were offering. Highly recommend!

The Best Bang for Your Buck in a MacBook
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Air with the M1 chip is an incredible performer. Super portable due to its size and weight. Outstanding display quality and incredible battery life. The only knock is the lack of ports. Only 2 USB C/Thunderbolt 4 ports and one will be consumed by the charger when plugged in. You can remedy this with a large choice of external dongles or hubs, but you really shouldn't have to purchase those additional accessories for a near $1000 laptop.

Macbook Air vs. Older Macbook Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's basically the same as my older MacBook Air with some pros and cons. The Pros: The touch pad unlock, the speed, the ease of transferring everything from my older MacBook and the headphone jack. The Cons: The cursor moves, but will not click, so you have to do a hard restart. I believe I found a way to correct this as well as a few other annoying things that were easily fixed in preferences. Also, the ever changing charging cord. NOTE: My old MacBook Air was dropped from the sofa to the floor hundreds of times (honestly) without ever having an issue. I once dropped it out of my hands onto a wet asphalt driveway, and never had any issues. Luckily, it landed it's fatal blow just before Thanksgiving, and I got a great deal on new MacBook on Cyber Monday. I think the issue with my older one was simply the battery, but it was time for new one, anyway. I highly recommend it.

Best MacBook Air ever, hands down
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a college student and was looking to get my first ever laptop. I've always used Windows OS but after using MacOS, I can't believe I was missing it the entire time. The optimization, simplistic UI, and you simply can't overlook the speed of M1 chip in this thing. On top of that, you will get a 2560x1600 resolution which I must say, is "crisp". I prefer Air because of it's size, portability, and battery can suffice for more than a day's work. 10/10 recommend it ;)

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm thoroughly impressed. Its lightweight, gold design makes it not only easy to carry around but also quite stylish. The M1 chip's performance is a standout; whether I'm browsing, streaming, or working on documents, everything is incredibly smooth and quick

Much more power than you’d think…
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop at a great price. While the MacBook Air is a great machine at the starting price, I was able to snag a Black Friday sale coupled with an open box deal, which made it hard to pass up. This computer is an excellent computer to achieve most user’s needs. It is a productivity dream, but it is able to handle video editing (to meet my needs), photo editing, along with other demanding tasks without showing fatigue. The screen on this laptop is gorgeous, the Touch ID is quick and a wonderful addition to a personal computer, the keyboard is best in class (so much better than those butterfly keyboards of old), and all of this in a thin, light machine. I love the portability of this computer, as it will be a main computer and a travel companion. Anything that needs pulled up feels as if it is waiting on demand - everything just snaps up and loads so quickly. The only complaint I have with the MacBook Air is its battery capacity. I will not deduct a star for the battery capacity because it will pretty much make it through an eight hour work day of productivity tasks including surfing the web, streaming and air playing video, and typing documents. After the eight hours have passed, the computer is on fumes and needs charged. This does meet my needs, though my three year old MacBook Pro did do better on lasting my daily needs. I am always near a charging outlet and charger, so this isn’t a huge deal, but I worry about battery degradation. This computer is such a powerhouse in such a small package and at a relatively affordable price considering what you get and after paying the Apple premium. It makes light work of all the tasks I throw at it. I definitely recommend this comptuer.

Great laptop if you can get a deal on it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If it was full price for a 2020 model, with 8gb of ram, and a 256 SSD, this laptop wouldn't have been in consideration in my search. Best Buy had a great deal on it a month ago. I am already in the "Apple Eco-System" so toggling things between my iPad, phone, and MacBook is seamless and fast, just convenience. The 8gb of ram sounds like a joke in 2023 but if you're just doing some basic tasks, ie; a few safari tabs, notes open, test taking, etc, its not going to slow down, its enough since the OS is great at being efficient with that kind of stuff. The soldered on SSD was also concerning but again if you're not a power user downloading a lot of large files I'm sure it'll last a long time. The battery life is great, I have no issue getting a few days out of it. Build quality is also the greatest I have felt personally and while the keyboard is different that anything I've used in the past (mechanical, brown switches) after a month of use I started to like it a lot. Some other small things I've noticed, its VERY thin, not too heavy in a backpack, speakers are loud and sound great, the screen gets fairly bright and is nice to look at, trackpad hasn't been an issue when using different gestures, touch ID hasnt failed me yet, webcam quality and mic are average. If you can get a deal on it and if you're a casual user like myself, I would recommend it all day. I'm in flight school just using it for basic tasks and it does everything that I need it too very well. The only gripe I've had is the 2 USB-C ports, I guess its something you sacrifice with the form factor. Personally I would've given up a few millimeters of its profile and thinness to get some more ports and ease of use. Keep in mind one is used for charging so you only have 1 open port if that time comes.

Another great Apple Product!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Apple computers for some time. After my MacBook Pro from 2013 finally got painfully slow, I decided to upgrade. I never fully used the capabilities of the Pro and saved some money with the Air. This thing is wicked fast, looks beautiful and just works. Batter is amazing.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Macbook Air M1 works great. Love the long battery life and M1 chip is very fast. I feel it is faster than my macbook pro that has 32gb memory so very impressive. Was on the fence about the 8gb ram but it is very fast so it does feel like the apple vs android phone that even with "lower" specs it is more efficient. This is for my son at school and is an upgrade to the chromebook he was using. Will be getting another one for my daughter. I feel confident this will last them a long time.

Perfect Portable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit unsure of what to expect of the new Apple Silicon M1 MacBook Air, but I decided to make the purchase anyway. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s kind of like having all the best parts of an iPad (except the touchscreen) mixed with all the best parts of a MacBook. It’s fast, especially in terms of the time it takes to get up and running. It may sound trivial, but being about to flip open the lid and have instant response is a game changer. It’s a quality product at a VERY reasonable price.

This lightweight is a heavyweight!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the Windows world, the transition has been pretty straight forward. This lightweight is a heavyweight in my opinion. No fans to deal with, a fast processor, the flexibility to be a mobile user or connect your favorite monitor and instant desktop. Suiting me fine for general web browsing, YouTube, Apple TV+, streaming services, It does it all with ease. Plus the benefit of connected to all of my Apple devices. Win-Win.
