Coming from a 2012 MacBook Pro, this is so much nicer . It’s faster , lighter, quieter, the keys and touch pad are so much more responsive. Bought it on sale for less than an I phone. I wish it had MagSafe charging, but the battery life is so good I don’t have to charge it often so no big deal . Very happy with purchase.

So far is a great purchase. I heard great things about this M1. I've been using it for about two months and it fits my expectations. I use it foy my light work, I do a lot of teams and zoom meeting and the battery lasts a lot.

I’m a Mac girl for life. I use them until I can’t anymore. I absolutely love this computer. It’s fast and beautiful. I use it only for school and for browsing and it hasn’t let me down. It’s the perfect size and weight too.

Faster for video editing and music recording

I have a 2017 MacBook Air but bought this one as a 2nd computer dedicated to video editing and music recording (i do a lot of both). I was curious about the M1 chip and whether it was faster. I have been mostly happy with my purchase. The machine is sleek, smaller and lighter than my previous one, and the rose gold is a fun addition. I can tell the videos export considerably faster, and in general i don't think i've had a "candy wheel" spinning at any point so far, which has been the case with my other MacBook. I didn't give it 5 stars only because i've had some problems with imovie just suddenly not playing sound when i scrub (i need this for video edits) and it's been annoying as i've had to wait, or close and reopen imovie, or restart the computer. I did a software update and the problem seemed to be fixed, but then it started happening again.

This laptop is very user-friendly, convenient size, great image quality and works pretty fast. The only downside is memory capacity - if I have a few powerful apps working at the same time and have many tabs open in a browser, it starts lagging and not responding. After 14 days, I'm still not 100% sure how to turn it off and on, so I would say this feature is not intuitive. I love the special button for the autofill with a fingerprint feature. It makes signing in and paying very easy and convenient. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've owned a MacBook Air M1 (Apple Silicon) for 3 weeks. Cooled without a fan, so no fan noise. 5 star appearance, performance, construction, software, comfort, and security features. It's speedy for my daily browsing, video, and remote work.

    Incredible machine!

Last year I bought an iPad Pro for photo editing with my mirrorless sony camera, but I found me wanting more in the operating system department as I also use it as a bed computer and have had a Macbook Pro 15 inch from 2015 that recently bit the dust so I was wanting to have the MacOS experience back. Recently I also bought a DJI Air 2S, and the iPad Pro was absolutely fine for the job, but I wanted faster. This thing absolutely does what I need it to do, and with no sweat or worry either! Not only that, battery life is incredible, I have a Alienware laptop with a 3070 in it and it only lasts maybe an hour off the plug doing basic tasks, while this can easily last me 14-15 hours on a single charge off the wall. This thing is also stupid fast, my gaming desktop with a i7 and 3090 will take longer to load up applications than this will. Obviously though, if you're looking for something to game with, this can't compete. It will outrank anything with integrated graphics however. This thing is incredible, and for 749 you really cant go wrong with it if you're in the market for a completely silent and fast laptop of this caliber. Only thing is storage size, 256gb nowadays is pretty paltry but I have a couple terabytes in external NVMEs that I can utilize if need be, and my other machines have tons of storage that I can transfer the files to, so my use case is fine with 256gb. You'll also be perfectly fine with 256gb if all you do is web browse/email/edit a few things here and there or have lots of disposable storage like I do

After half a decade, I finally bought a Macbook Laptop. I always looked at Apple products like fine art. Nice to look at but..... Believe all the positive reviews. If you are on the fence, just go into a store, and put your eyes, and hands on one. Then make your way over the the PC section. Do the same. You will understand pretty quickly the quality difference. Scared because you never used Mac OS before, dont be. You could teach your grandmother how to navigate this OS. It is very clean and, can be super new user friendly or, get as techy as you want with all the endless keyboard shortcuts, applications, and all the endless things this device would just blow right through. It is completely silent, and always cool to the touch, which makes it outstanding when actually using it on your lap. Crazy right? The battery life is outstanding and I have been averaging in between 15 - 17 hours off of a single charge. Screen On Time, not just idle. I wish I could tell you that also but, I use too often to let it sit for days. Also, there was nothing in my normal everyday use that even makes this device hiccup. It is unbelievably fast. I could go on and on. If you are looking at Windows laptops at the same price range, or even a bit higher, I would highly recommend you look at these also. Unless you are married to Windows, you are doing yourself a disservice by not checking these out.

Apple really knocked the M1 Macbook Air out of the park. The sleek form factor makes it easy to carry around by hand or in a bag, battery life is outstanding and I love that the MBA doesn't have a built-in fan (no more annoying fan noise!). Performance is extraordinarily good, no complaints with anything I throw at it. I purchased an open box (satisfactory) Best Buy unit and it was in practically new condition.

Super light, fast and gorgeous. As with most new Apple laptops, had to get a USB A adapter. Only two USB C ports and one of them is used up by the power cable. Obviously not designed to be for super heavy useage, but perfect for on the go.

    MacBook Saved My Life

I got this MacBook Air M1 because my old laptop sounded like a lawnmower trying to take flight. This one? Silent. Smooth. Suspiciously competent. I’m starting to think it’s judging me for how slow I work. Performance: This thing is FAST. Like, opens apps so quickly I barely finish clicking. I swear the M1 chip has psychic abilities. Me: thinks about opening Chrome MacBook: “Already did it. You’re welcome.” Design: It’s Space Gray, which basically means it’s the laptop equivalent of wearing a leather jacket—cool, mysterious, and definitely too good for me. Also, it’s so thin I’m afraid a strong breeze might knock it into another dimension. Battery Life: The battery lasts longer than the enthusiasm I had for my New Year’s resolutions. I charged it once, went to work, ran errands, watched Netflix, and it still sat there like, “Is that all you’ve got?”

fantastic machine, the Macbook Air M1. - 8GB is more than enough for most normal usage. Its as fast (if not faster) than windows machines w/ 16GB RAM. - the M1 processor kicks x86 butt - For the first time, an Apple device is actually cheaper than an equivalent Windows device. - lighter, longer battery life, more powerful and cheaper. Thats a killer combination. - I'm a convert to the Macbook Air M1

Owning a MacBook Air 13.3" laptop is like having a secret love affair with technology. It's whisper-thin, dangerously light, and makes you feel giddy every time you open it. It's the kind of laptop that makes you want to strut into Starbucks like you own the place, even if you're just there for the free Wi-Fi. And let's not forget about its battery life! It lasts longer than most relationships these days! But in all seriousness from its razor-thin design to its vibrant Retina display, every aspect screams sophistication. 100/10 would definitely recommend and for the price and financing with Best Buy you just can’t beat it.

Extremely great value, such a powerful device on sale is a steal, would definitely recommend to students due to its great portability and size, it can literally fit in any backpack with ease. You con so literally anything school related in one of these. Interface is a bit tricky at the beginning if this is your first MacBook, but once you get the hang of it, everything runs so much smoother.

I recently picked up the MacBook Air 13.3 from Best Buy, and it's been an absolute game-changer. Apple's sleek design, a stunning Retina display, and the M1 chip's power make it a powerhouse. Plus, the battery life is off the charts, and the keyboard/trackpad combo is a joy to use. It's the complete package for anyone who wants the best in a laptop, even if the port selection is a tad limited. In short, the MacBook Air 13.3 is a winner and a testament to Apple's enduring excellence.

First new computer purchase as an adult and I couldn’t be happier. I am an iPhone user and this MacBook Air is fantastic! It runs extremely fast, doesn’t get hot and is awesomely thin! I was surprised how much easier it is to use over a different type of laptop. Would most definitely recommend and would buy again. Hoping I don’t have to buy another one though!!!

This is my go to laptop when I travel. It is light, super fast, 10 hours battery life, and it just works (Mac). The keyboard is a joy to type on, and I didn't realize the M1 allows almost instant on. I turn to my Mac more than my iPad Pro, even to watch things. I would rather get the Air than the M1 pro, because fanless.
