I almost exchanged this because I thought there was an issue, but I think it is a growing pain from switching to M1 (I think the program is x86). The battery life is great. It really lasts all day. I have not timed it, so I cannot confirm the exact numbers. The keyboard was important to me and the depth was just enough, it is backlit (another requirement). The keyboard isn't mushy, which is harder to find without spending a fortune than I thought. I do miss having a touchscreen in Windows 10. TouchID is much better that Lenovo's fingerprint solution. I like the smaller size, but both side should have USB C so you can charge from either side and full size USB should not have been cut. I'm learning DaVinci Resolve 17 and even though I bought the cheapest M1 8GB MacBook air, I can export apx 200fps at 1080p HEVC with transitions and effects, on battery. Overall, great Black Friday buy.

I have been pleased with this device. I do use it as a true portable/travel device and it has been a great decision and never misses a beat. I would highly recommend the MacBook Air especially if you are looking for a device that you will Tavel between offices or locations with on a frequent basis.

As a grad student, this laptop has been pretty helpful to take notes and navigate the internet quickly. There are so many cool features and apps on this device. MacBook Air is pretty lightweight so it useful to take on the go. I got this in the rose gold color and it look so sleek! Highly recommend.

I love it! It’s fast, reliable and very sleek. I love the Touch ID, that is really a lifesaver on days I’m too forgetful to remember my password. Even though it is not touchscreen, it is fine because that would actually help me out on zooming in but it’s not really a necessity to me. So this is definitely a product I would recommend and purchase again.

I was in a bind because I had a 2013 MacBook Pro that had been working perfectly, then died completely on me a week before this semester. I knew I wanted to get another Mac and this one is perfect for what I need to accomplish for school. The Touch ID is probably the best feature that I wouldn’t have expected to make a big difference. The computer itself is beautiful and lightweight. If you’re in the market for a good school or home-use computer, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Exactly what you want in a laptop - fast, reliable, easy to use, holds a charge, etc. I could go on and on but Mac is just the superior laptop, whether you get an Air or a Pro you cannot go wrong. Display is crystal clear as well and looks better than most monitors that run you the price of the MacBook itself.

Excellent computer fast responsive and good battery life

I use my MacBook for college and it’s very useful and fast. The battery life is great especially when you have apps that usually drain the battery life of your laptop when you use it. This laptop has been a great investment. I highly recommend any college student to by this laptop for school.

Runs smooth while playing video games. If I could purchase this device a second time, even though it’s an older model, I most definitely would.

Great lap top. I was lucky enough to get it on sale . It’s light , easy to use . 13 inch is a perfect size for business (realtor)and personal use. It’s my first Mac I always had a PC. I got the gold! Which is quite nice !

Wish I could give this laptop 10 stars! I had recently bought a Surface 3 laptop literally just a day before the new Mac M1 MacBook Air was announced. I was still within my return period so I returned the Surface and got the new Mac. I'm so glad I did. Everything about the new MacBook Air is amazing -- no fan so its quiet all the time, its super fast and the gold color is amazing! Thanks to Best Buy for the excellent return policy. Go get this computer, you will not be disappointed!

I love this computer I got it to do school work and it does more than what I need it to do it stays charged for a long period of time, I’ve had it for over a month now and it runs great it always loads what I need it to I even use it to watch Netflix on and it always loads my and never has any issues

This is my first Mac. I’ve owned plenty of HP’s which have been amazing. However, the performance of this laptop is stunning. I love being able to run all of my programs and seamlessly switch from one to the next. The battery life is also worthy of mentioning. Defiantly glad I decided to finally buy me one.

I wanted a personal laptop with good quality, lightweight but above all with a GOOD BATTERY. This laptop meets all my requirements. I am happy with it. Great screen quality, keyboard and tremendous speed. The only bad thing is, if you are going to limit the user to USB-C ports at least put one on each side so we can charge the laptop from either side. Even better put one on each side and one on the back. It's not rocket science Apple!

This is now my fourth MacBook and I have to say I’m really pleased with the product. The design is sleek, as it to be expected by Apple. Beyond aesthetics however, the functionality and smoothness of operation is beyond Pierre. Snagging it on sale was an added bonus.
