My MacBook died a few weeks ago and I had been cruising around looking online for a replacement. Since it was a big purchase, I decided to check why yourcutter.com and see what they recommended. They actually had the exact laptop, the exact MacBook that I ended up purchasing listed with the price that it was selling for at Best Buy. I was elated! I purchased it and was excited to get it home to start playing with it well, it is better than my previous one and although I’m not happy with the plug, not being the magnetic type that I was used to. But the functionality, the speed everything is just perfect and it’s actually faster than my previous one which was about 16 years old. Yes, MacBooks last long time . I think the keyboard is perfectly sized, although it is slightly larger than my work PC laptop so that takes a little getting used to. But I think that this is a great value for the price and I highly recommend it.

First time Mac user; switched from PC. This computer blows away any that I have ever used. It is so ridiculously fast! It hasnt even thought about getting warm ever, even through long movie streaming (binging!) sessions. The battery life is outstanding. So easy to switch to the Apple ecosystem this year. Went from android to iPhone, and now this MacBook Air. Only regret is that I didn’t switch sooner. Got a fantastic deal on a great piece of hardware!

All things considered, the fast chip, the design, the price. It is a no brainer if you are picking 1000 and under.

Great laptop, and a great deal during a Best Buy discount. This laptop serves all my needs. I was initially concerned about the sturdiness of the MacBook Air, as I've only used laptops with a larger form factor in the past, but the construction is so solid I feel completely at ease lugging it around in a high-paced work environment. It's a great machine. Fast, solid, and good looking.

It works as it should. Great for photo editing. Wish it would come with some sort of internal memory and a more plug/outlet options. Overall like it.

I actually bought two!! My kids love them and will use them for various school activities that Chromebooks could not handle or keep up with. We are Apple people and this was an easy switch. These are lightweight but powerful and sturdy. Make sure to get a case and other add-ons to do HDMI, USB, etc.

This little "entry level" Macbook has effectively been a full recording studio for me for the last several months or so and, while there are certain things you have to work around like the 8GBs of RAM and the incredibly small 256GB storage, it has been almost completely trouble-free. Very portable, very powerful, only thing I would change would be that next time I will get a larger display. It hasn't had any real issues with Logic, plug-ins, web surfing, video editing, or any of the other things people typically buy a Mac for. I love this thing and will likely upgrade to a newer Macbook Air within the next year. That being said, for being 5 years old, this thing is fast and keeps up well with the projects I'm working on.

Performance to dollar ratio, this laptop cannot be beat. The battery lasts days and if you do mostly web based work and emails, this is snappy and reliable. Screen is very good for this price range. You’d have to spend double or triple the money to beat this package.

I use my MacBook for college and it’s very useful and fast. The battery life is great especially when you have apps that usually drain the battery life of your laptop when you use it. This laptop has been a great investment. I highly recommend any college student to by this laptop for school.

As a grad student, this laptop has been pretty helpful to take notes and navigate the internet quickly. There are so many cool features and apps on this device. MacBook Air is pretty lightweight so it useful to take on the go. I got this in the rose gold color and it look so sleek! Highly recommend.
