If you need a laptop now and can't wait for Apple to improve on its M1 chip later in 2021 or early 2022, get the late 2020 MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. You won't regret it. A smooth, fast, capable machine that is quick, stays cool and lasts a good long time on a single charge. Watch for occasional deals and you will feel even better about the purchase the more you use it.

Great laptop for school, video editing, also the picture quality is amazing, fast and efficient, plus if you use a iphone its great to keep use for cloud and etc.. still works like new and I have had for a little over 2 years

This is the best laptop for most people. The M1 chip is powerful and efficient. Battery life is great, performance is snappy. Only negative is the 8GB of RAM. Too little in 2022, even for a 2020 laptop it's too little.

This MacBook is very sleek and looks great. It's light weight and easy to travel with. I love the touch button login feature. I can not believe it took me so long to make this purchase. It has paid for itself 10 times over!!!

I love my MacBook, it’s light weight thin, and can fit almost anywhere. It is very easy to get around and I like that you can link it to your iPhone so you can receive messages and FaceTime calls as well. It was very useful especially while in college for reports and all.

I'm coming from using a 2017 Apple MacBook Air i7, 8GB ram as my daily workhorse that serves me very well. The new Apple M1 is an improvement in both power and battery life. While i'm not editing video or other intensive items like that, It does exactly what it is meant for, a consumer laptop computer that combines the all day battery life of the iPad and merging it with the functionality of a traditional MacBook.

My fiance loves this machine. It is sleek, lightweight and quick. It can do everything she was hoping it would. No regrets here!

Great value bought over holiday sale. Mac OS's do not have the lag present in Microsoft Windows when it gets bloated down with subsequent updates which slows down the booting process. Only deficiency is that it lacks the touch screen feature available in most other competitive laptops.

A still excellent lightweight laptop, with a good screen, comfortable keyboard, and long battery life. Although not as fast as the new and outstanding M2 MacBook Air (which finally has a better camera), this is still a reliable, speed demon for general work and internet at a more affordable price point (and it's often now on sale).

This laptop is by far my favorite one I’ve ever had. Easy to use with nice screen resolution I love that the keyboard is lit up. The battery lasts much longer than my previous lap tops. I highly recommend.

Buying this laptop has been an upgrade for me. It’s easy to use, works quick and efficiently, easy to organize and navigate. Everything is more simpler and I like that it’s really easy to maintain everything.

I've had other Macs in the past, but more recently have suffered through several PC laptops. This laptop is a breath of fresh air. To me, macOS is better designed and more consistent than Windows these days. Build quality is fabulous and the screen is bright and crisp. The M1 chip is fast, and battery life is stellar. Nits are minor: the design and bezels look a tad on the old side, I miss a touch screen, and the web cam is average at best. Given the much higher price of the M2 Air, though, and the sale price of this device ($799, thanks, BB!), purchasing this was a no-brainer for me. Highly recommended!

So pleased with my Mac Air 13" Laptop. M1 chip 8 GB memory 256GB SSD. This computer is everything that I need and has enough memory and speed for anything I want to do. Looking forward to traveling with this lightweight computer.

I bought this laptop as the least expensive way that I could release mobile apps I have written to the App Store - Apple insists you use a Mac. I was concerned the 8G RAM might be an issue but it wasn't. XCode + Visual Code ran without issue. Outside of code development this laptop is fast and lightweight, great machine.

Absolutely LOVE it! My 2015 MacBook Air Intel had slow liquid damage and stopped working, so upgraded to this one. It is SO FAST! The Touch ID login/for all passwords saves me so much time as well. Each day I seem to love it more. Thought I was going to get the Space Gray, but my mother suggested the Rose Gold and really it's so gorgeous. Wished Best Buy would match the $100 Education discount that Apple Store offers, though.

This computer has delivered on every promise. It is fast and reliable. The trackpad works flawlessly. You learn the gestures and they work every time. I would definitely recommend it if you are a student I just someone doing every day task it is super.

Super happy with this purchase so far. Super light, super portable. Would recommend for any that wants/needs an apple computer and utilize just the basic functions of a computer. I don’t use it for any sort of editing or things of nature. At least not at the moment
