Great computer for a great price. Love my MacBook Air. I loved my previous Mac too, but this one has an especially awesome battery life and that is so important to me.

What a great little computer. We love Apple products and this is a perfect addition. Super fast and can fit basically anywhere a tablet can.

I keep trying the OSX envirnonment. The one thing that sends me back to MS? I am addicted to a touch screen. I tried for six months. I kept using my iPad or Windows 2 in 1. Finally took a bath and traded this in. Not because of it's OS, not because it was too fast. Not because the speakers were plenty good and loud. The screen was great, maybe a bit too bright for me at it's highest setting. Oh and the battery life. Come on man! 14 plus hours? Who needs that much battery life? I gave up all this, over a touch screen? Yup, pretty much. Apple has a problem with competition. They are a bit self hating. They wont put OSX on their new M1 iPad pro. So as not to eat away at their MacBook sales. They won't put a touch screen on their MB Air....well, you get the point. So, Surface Pro 8 with an i7 16 gig set up will have to do. If I could only recall where I put my screen cleaning cloth.

I love this product. As a regular windows user it did take me awhile to figure out, but it has been almost 2 years and I have 0 complaints aside from I don't have a ton of reasons to use it now.

Even with the M2 as the current MacBook Air processor, the M1 is a crazy-good value proposition, especially when it’s on sale. If you can get it for under $800, it’s worth jumping on.

This M1 MacBook Air offers very snappy performance for most tasks. Unless you're a serious video or photo processor, this laptop is probably speedy enough for your needs. I recommend that anyone who likes to run a lot of applications at once, or have a lot of browser tabs open, be mindful of the memory capacity. But, 8 GB should be enough for most people. The battery life is amazing, just as all the reviews say. The webcam is, in my opinion, the only real downside of this device.

I don't tend to use Apple products outside of Apple TV and iPad Pros. I have had MacBooks provided by my employers in the past so I'm at least able to navigate MacOS OK, but I wanted something to really experiment with without worrying about ruining company equipment. I'm used to using heavier gaming laptops with larger screens, so this feels almost like a toy. It's incredibly light, has what I would consider insane battery life and is... fine. I've been looking around for apps or uses that Macs are outstanding at (and yes, I realize it's an Air and not a Pro) but so far the only application I've used where it noticeable outperforms any of my Windows laptops is with Ableton Live 11. There is no noticeable lag using my MIDI keyboards and controllers, where with my Windows laptops it's not possible to record live without turning off the speakers because the lag is so bad. The interoperability with my iPad Pro is pretty impressive. I haven't really dug into what's possible yet, but have used my iPad as a second display and the setup is simple and seamless. I'm still trying to dig into use cases for this MacBook vs my windows laptops and there aren't many. It's not capable of being a primary gaming system, though it can easily handle some of the less intensive Mac-compatible games I have on Steam. I may be using it as my primary music recording/producing system going forward, though. And it's so light and capable enough that I can easily see using this first when I go on vacation or just want a laptop with me to use at a cafe or wherever. I suspect my initial rating may change with more use and my limited experience with Macs in general makes it difficult for me to evaluate the M1 chip. Bottom line, I'd say if portability is your highest priority and you don't need high performance for gaming or intensive creative work, it's pretty decent. Though you could probably get by with a Windows laptop for half the price for general computing.

Got this MacBook Air for 750 dollars and it was a great purchase. It works great, is incredibly light and thin, and is lightning fast. I have zero complaints.

Remarkable improvement from intel. Sure, there are incompatibility issues but those will go away with time and aren't a big deal because of how well the air runs those apps in emulation. The battery, no noise and very little heat more than make up for the short term program compatibility issues.

Absolutely love my laptop. I had the best service experience at the store and I was able to get a great deal on my MacBook Air. It is the best one I’ve had over the years- I used my last one until it basically died - I had used it since 2015. So far- no issues at all with my new one!! Love it!!

I purchased this MacBook for my daughter to replace her current windows computer one month ago. She loves being able to sync it with her phone! Loves the rose gold color, and the sleek design! It's incredibly fast, doesn't overheat, and great for multi-tasking! So far, very satisfied!

M1 chip with long lasting battery makes this a no brainer. If you can get it on sale it's an even better deal. I wouldn't consider myself a power user but this does everything I need it to. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic laptop experience.

Great Laptop, I use it for working remotely and has enough power for most applications. I can’t comment on video editing as I don’t do that type of work. Long battery life, good portable size, easy to fit in any luggage or bag when traveling.

You will not be disappointed in this purchase. It is light weight, fast, and I was able to sync all my apps and programs from my other apple products with no effort at all.

I always use a Windows laptop and desktop. It is my first time owning a Macbook Air. This laptop is fast and more efficient than the Acer Swift X. I wish the laptop had more storage and memory for the price compared to the Acer Swift X. I have been using the Macbook Air for nine months, and my overall experience is excellent. Hopefully, it will last more than five years.

It’s a good product. My only issue with bestbuy. They only have student discounts at the beginning of the school year as if computers don’t break in the middle of the school year. Otherwise, I am getting used to a Mac and love it. It’s super light. Runs fast. And gave me the most bang for my buck.

I was skeptical of going to Mac even tho I’ve used iPhone and iPads for over a decade. i have no intentions of ever going back to the other guys again! This is an awesome piece of technology that has made my life a little easier!! Soooo simple and modest, yet sleek and classy!!
