Loving it so far. Powerful. Quiet. Great for casual web browsing and even running more demanding design software. If you’re deciding between this and the MacBook Pro (like I was), save your money. If you’re not sure, then you really don’t need the one the costs $2k.

Just switched from being a forever windows user...now that pretty much everything is web based I figured now is a good time to drive into the Mac and apple ecosystem. Everything is great after I figured the workaround using display link for the 2nd monitor support. The M1 is super fast and the hardware is silent.

I bought this for my daughter to take to college. It being small and light makes it great for carrying around campus and it is fast enough to handle everything she needs it to do.

Stunning picture, extremely fast, and capable of everyday business use. I cannot believe how cheaply priced these laptops are. Do not forget to sign up for total tech so you can get free Apple Care +!

Great value. May not be the latest version, but for the casual user the quality and performance are great! Easy to use and access add-on are easy—just note usb-c ports and not regular usb.

A wonderful product. I needed to replace my old desktop computer with a laptop. I still need to update my laptop. I plan on doing that with the Geek Squad ASAP.

awesome laptop. the M1 chip is literally a game changer. Will never go back to intel chip laptops that sound like a 747 jet airliner in a cold winter Christmas Eve when youre trying to make it home for the holidays and youre worried about the weather getting worse from the winter storm.

Never used MacBook air before but I love it. It fast with download including Microsoft. Easy to uesd and light to carry on. I did not regret living my HP Pavilion for this MacBook air laptop. Best laptop I ever had. Thanks to Best Buy for this wonderful MacBook.100% working great. I will recommend this to anyone.

My first apple product when it came to computers, I love this thing! I work mostly with paperwork, emails, little marketing design and the only thing I wish I had was more storage. I have 256 but I recommend the 512. Also gold isn’t really gold it’s more rose gold which I love!

Great use for college, laptop is a bit heavy but also small and good for trnasporting. It includes apps needed for school (microsoft etc.) and has a great charge and last for a long time.

Processing is excellent. Loved it! I returned the computer after 2 days because the screen went blank; I thought I had gotten the Black Screen of Death. The only way one could see what was happening was connecting my tv and using it as a monitor. I called Apple Support after trying different commands with no success. They told me to just return it to Best Buy and NOT use up my Apple Care. I felt a little bad for the Apple agents. They were having a hard time since it’s a new processor. I got another MacBook Air M1. Let’s see what happens with this one. I’m sure I just got a lemon. The irony: My dinosaur (11 years old) MacBook Pro, ended up saving my day, since my MacBook Air went blank. If it happens again, then we know Apple screwed up.

This MacBook is one of its kind, for its price it might seem like a waste but I recommend it. The M2 chip is just something extra, this comp has the M1 chip which is the same except for the “speed”. There’s a price difference also, like 300 dollars compared to Apple directly and other stores. I bought it for school and it works perfectly. The battery lasts me 2 and a half days depending on the work.

Apple Macbook Air with M1 Chip is super quick to boot up and open any app on the computer. The process is so much better than my previous Macbook Pro.

After previously having purchased an M1 Mac mini, I decided to grab this similar macbook air when it was on sale. Performance is impressive for the price and the battery life is excellent!

Good solid construction, great performance and great battery life. Runs games better than last generation high end macs. You may want to upgrade to the next model up with more storage especially if this is your only computer. Paid $999 in Nov 2020.

A very good computer for the money. Very capable and real-world battery is about 9 to 10 hours. The reason for the 4 out of 5 is the cable it came with. I ordered this computer twice and both times the cable it came with smelled toxic. I returned the first one and the second one had the same smell so I just replaced the cable myself. Not sure how wide spread this is but I have heard this on blogs and with my own experience. But, as far as the hardware you cannot go wrong for the price and speed of the new M1 Macbook. The fanless unit is also a pleasure to work with if you don't like fans buzzing.

Size and speed are a huge factor after upgrading my old MacBook to the new 2023 version - the difference in the software and small upgrade is amazing - Im so glad I finally got a new one
