one of the best purchases you can buy from bestbuy. I bought it back when it was on sale for 800 $, and I see this going on sale for 750$ and I can't think of better deal. If you use your laptop for lights tasks, like browsing webs, checking emails, watching movies,,etc then you should go with the basic specs and takes advantage of the very cheap price tag that you wouldn't find anywhere else.

This Xmas gift for my granddaughter. She loves it and very excited. This MacBook Air M1 is her first generation of M1. Great use for her school projects is an excellent choice.

I got this laptop when it first was released, I was upgrading from the 2013 version. Instantly fell in love. There was so many different features.. and for the price, amazing. My screen recently just broke and I just rebought the same laptop. I’m in marketing and the computer can handle all my graphic making without any type of delay. Perfect for work, or for school use! 100% would recommend!

The MacBook Air with the new M1 chip delivers as promised. Purchased as a Mother's Day gift for wifey, it was easy to set up right out of the box. The speed in which the MacBook processes data in comparison to our old Windows laptop is no comparison. Just wish there were more accessories (MacBook covers, case, mouse, etc) were available for purchase.

Great for lightweight school work. The M1 chip may require workarounds for some familiar applications. Vendors of the most popular applications have released or working on native versions. Rosetta 2 (installs automatically by MacOS when needed) allows running non-native applications, but it's not perfect. The MacBook Air may not have the horsepowers for some heavy developers or designers. In which case, the new M1 Pro and M1 Max machines might be a better choice. However, these laptops have the same architectural constraints of an M1-based MacBook Air.

Lightweight, portable, only downside is lack of ports so you'll need some kind of adapter.

Awesome laptop. I bought it to my wife. She loves it. the Macbook air is very light. The only thing that I dont like is the fact that there is no USB port.
