I am enjoying my MacBook Air - it's light weight, has all the functions of my desktop, it's small enough to fit in my purse, the speed is awesome, the transition from Microsoft to Apple was amazing. I must admit if Apple had made it a touchscreen they would have received 5 stars.

This is the third MacBook with the low end specs. MacBooks have always been for me a great value and this one is the best one yet. This is great for anything you can do in a browser and just right for writing papers etc. Office apps work great. If you want to work on demanding apps like Photoshop, heavy Excel work or high end games this will want to get a MacBook Pro or Windows laptop.

I was in market for a laptop after about six years (yeah yeah.. I know you might think I am cheap but I think I 1) buy relatively quality products (conditioned on my affordability) and 2) simply take care of the things hence they last longer. I am generally on my laptop at least 16 hours every day and I mean to the last minute... I normally have around 5 pdf books open, 3-5 presentations, at least 20-30 large excel sheets, 10ish tabs in my browser including youtube and a programming language interface. You might have guessed that I am a very light user of laptop.. I have tried 4 laptops before settling in with this MacBook Air. All of these had at least one of the below issues: 1) fan noise 2) bad keyboard ergonomics 3) heating issues 4) relatively slow despite of having latest core i7 and 16 GB RAMs 5) very expensive..not value for the money This MacBook ticks all the boxes and does not suffer from any of the above issues..ok,ok, I get it, I agree it is a bit on the expensive side but it is still a good value for the money...In short, BUY it you will not REGRET it!!

My wife and I bought this as a gift for my grown daughter. She had been wanting one for a while. She is a teacher and in Real Estate. She was using a Lenovo laptop and an Ipad. We Caught it on Presidents day sale, $799. This will replace the Lenovo an some of the duties of her Ipad. I have the IPad 11 M1 and this is an awesome chip. Apple hit a home run with the M1.

Who does not love Mac. In my famiky there are three Macs. Two air and one Pro. This is the Mercedes Benz of the laptops (sorry Chevy). I have been using laptops sisase the very first ones came to the market. I also use Windows for my job. But the Macbook ease of use, Retina display, Keyboard, Weight to power ratio is unique to Apple.

The new MacBook Pro series breathes new line into what was arguably a stagnating lineup. The previous-generation MacBook Pro wasn’t a bad computer by any means — but with few ports and the maligned Touch Bar, it felt like it was a little worse for wear. But the 2021 MacBook Pro solves almost all of the issues that customers had with previous iterations. It does away with the Touch Bar, adds back many of the ports, and gets a new design and Apple Silicone along the way.
