MacBook Air-Love It!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying this computer and all it has to offer. Have had 2 different pc laptops in the last 10 years touted as "high capacity" but were just were not up to par on some of the task I use them for including pictures, docs, spread sheets, etc Took forever to load, run. etc. This MACBook Air with the Apple M1 chip..WOW. Amazing. Fast, holds a lot of data, battery life is astounding. Delivered quickly and set up was a breeze and user friendly. Also love the lightweight feel.

Best Laptop Ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is so great! The M1 chip processor is awesome fast. Love the Gold color. Save me a lot of money buying a case or cover. Touch ID helps me open the program as fast as a lightning. The display resolution is so crisp...color is so vibrant! The whole computer is very light and portable. I can easily bring it anywhere in the house. It charges really fast, and the battery takes days to go low. I really, really love my new MacBook Air Laptop!

Flew too close to the sun
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked it much more than i thought i would. The main appeal is the light weight, screen quality and long battery life. All things my gaming pc could never provide. I at first was annoyed with usb type c but the brightside is only having to carry one charger for my android phone and computer and dslr is pretty incredible. For its size and capacity i am amazed at how well this handles photoshop and steam. Its not going to change the world or make me abandon my gaming desktop but when tight on storage this is amazing. The down side is the m1. It's a gift and a curse. Benefit is speed and battery with no heat production. It's whisper quiet. The bad is the architecture.. all Mac apps in the last year were designed with Intel in mind so prepare to have to do without due to compatibility issues or suffer through Performance issues. All in all i picked this up during tax free weekend and with a student discount so at that price i am very satisfied with my purchase. The low storage space and incompatibility issues knock down what would otherwise be a perfect score. Apple overcharges for upgrades that would cost an extra 50 bucks on a windows pc and it's time for backlash. It really alienates their customers and drives away enthusiasts but that's in the eye of the beholder

10/10 would buy again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.**I bought this in store, so I'm not going to show as a verified buyer.** I've used MacBooks in the past; I own an iMac 21.5", AirPods, Apple TV, iPad and iPhone and have been using a w10 laptop for gaming and general use. I had some extra spending money and decided to finally get a MacBook Air, and I'm not disappointed! I've used them in the past, but this is a major improvement from the last I've used. I went with the rose gold mainly because it matches my iPad and honestly, I didn't want to spend 1,300 for another desktop. I wanted this mostly for when I'm out/travel. My only requirements are a good laptop that's fast, loads quickly and is close to what I use on a daily basis. I recently bought an 8TB external drive (tl;dr - my 8 year old external died and I lost all my games for windows which is why I got it), and if space is an issue (I went with the 256 HDD) I'll most likely use that. The Touch ID is going to be incredibly useful and I'm a fan already of the lack of a power button. is it comparable to the 16" MBP? Probably not. That's not what I was looking for. If it was my primary computer I would have considered it, but it's not. It's what I need when I'm away from home. I don't edit photos/video too much, and I don't require as much space as possible. But something I can listen to my music on, stream twitch or YouTube, and have a laptop that's not running into issues more times than it doesn't. it fits my needs, and that's exactly what I got it for. And really, you can't go wrong getting a MacBook for less than $1,100. So 10/10 would definitely buy again. I'll add more photos in the next few days. For now, here's a closeup of the (improved?) MacBook Air logo.

Nice!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a 2012 MacBook Pro, this is so much nicer . It’s faster , lighter, quieter, the keys and touch pad are so much more responsive. Bought it on sale for less than an I phone. I wish it had MagSafe charging, but the battery life is so good I don’t have to charge it often so no big deal . Very happy with purchase.

Everything I need
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from a 2013 MacBook air, this new model does everything I need it to do (I use it for work every day running multiple Adobe Suite programs). I don't usually do very high level processing tasks, but I've hardly had to wait for any of the tasks that used to hold up my workflow. Simple, fast, light, and impressive battery life.

MacBook Air with M1 chip is speedy upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple MacBook Air (late 2020. With M1 chip. Model A2337). Summary: I recommend this! It was a very good purchase to replace older Mac machines. Excellent battery life; more than 15 hours before needing recharge. The faster processor and Retina display are worthwhile upgrades from my older Intel Core i-5 MacBook Pro from 2013. So far, all standard programs are working with the Apple M1 chip. The minor weaknesses are: only two included USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports. No separate charge port or memory card slot. I needed to purchase extra-cost adapters/hubs for my HDMI/VGA video monitors, external audio speakers, thumb drives, and USB memory drives. Of course, I’ll eventually replace each of these older inexpensive peripherals with newer and pricier Thunderbolt 3.1 equivalents.

Excellent lightweight small screen laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M1 "Air" laptop is all that most people need for general purpose use - it has 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of solid state disk and an excellent 13.3 inch screen - plenty for email, light word processing, light gaming, school work, light artwork, has a good built-in camera, microphone and speakers, etc. Mac computers come with an excellent complement of easy-to-use Mac software for general purpose use and, recently, Stacksocial has been offering a great deal on MS Office 2021 for Mac that extends that ecosystem to the Mac, too. It is fast, responsive, extremely reliable, and is very easy and pleasant to use. Most people only use 30 to 50 GB of "disk" storage (this computer uses much faster solid state disk - not less-reliable and slower hard disk). It is comparatively light and thin as laptops go and is easy to carry. The power supply is not clunky and attaches magnetically. All-in-all a good choice, especially at its current discounted price. The M1 generation of Mac chips is similar to but not quite as fast as the M2 generation but is architecturally very similar - there is little to fear that the M1 will become obsolete in the near future. The *one* drawback is that this computer has only 2 Thunderbolt ports for wired connections. Thus, if you want to have a hardwired Ethernet connection (faster and more secure) than the built-in WiFi, you need to buy an external Thunderbolt (not just a USB C-type) dock that includes an Ethernet port. Similarly, if you want to use the computer with a larger, say a 24 or a 27 inch screen you need to have an HDMI port on the dock. And if you have other kinds of devices that you use that have USB A connections the dock must have those, too. There are several reliable docks on the market, so if you need one, they are available. Just make sure that the dock has the kinds and number of ports that you need. I recommend this computer if you need a light and very portable general purpose Mac.

Pure Awesomeness!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got my hands on the MacBook Air 13 M1, and let me tell you, it's a total game-changer! The M1 chip is a beast – everything's crazy fast, from video editing to juggling a dozen apps at once. No fan noise, and it stays cool even when I'm pushing it hard. The Retina display is stunning, with vivid colors and True Tone making everything look gorgeous. Plus, it's so darn lightweight and slim that I carry it everywhere without even noticing. The battery life is no joke – all-day power for my non-stop hustle. The Magic Keyboard is comfy, and Touch ID adds a cool security touch. Seriously, if you want a laptop that's as powerful as it is portable, the MacBook Air 13 M1 is the real deal. Highly recommend!

Grad Student Approved
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this for Christmas. With having lots of papers and grading to do in my final semester of school, this laptop seemed like a really good fit. My dad has the 2015 version of this laptop and it is still running very well. So far, I am loving it. The computer runs pretty fast. I also enjoy having the Touch Bar option at the top of the computer. My main worry was that this computer was going to be heavy, but its pretty lightweight. I would recommend this computer to anyone who is in need of a good everyday computer.

Awesome as always
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Typical Apple product. Well designed, fast and made to last. The Gen1 M1 chip is incredibly faster and more efficient than intel. The newer M1 chip is even better. The air is very light and portable. Very similar to the gen1 M1 MacBook Pro. If your only needing a computer for general office and or student application, this is a great machine.
