Fantastic Laptop - Meeting My Expectation
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time am using MacBook and got very good deal (250 dollar discount). Initially thinking to buy high configuration but this config is enough for me.. I feel like phone or wallet easy to carry anywhere. Battery life and speed is very good. I think Now I will not go back to other brand. My favorite was HP and now MacBook is my favorite now. Thanks Sathish

Excellent performance and quality for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a windows and microsoft user for many years almost decades now.I needed something that had a great price, light, and had performance for all things internet and SaaS related products. Honestly, for $900 being one of the cheapest laptops on the market it excels at getting your typical job done from browsing the internet, playing movies, doing word docs, spreadsheets, and anything else related. I really recommend this over a $3k surface book 3 or 4 right now.

overall greatness
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M1 MacBook Air impresses with superior performance surpassing any other MacBook in this price section in my opinion. I get nearly 13 hours of remarkable battery life. Retaining the beloved design features, ia vibrant retina display, and the reliable Magic Keyboard, and the battery space and overall performance is the tops.

GOOD, except lack of port on the right hand side
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PRO: First, the keyboard is fast. At first I did not believe this "butterfly" keyboard would make any difference, but I immediately fell in love with this touch once I start typing. Second, the speed is good. I found not glitch running any program. Also, the computer is not heated up like my previous MacBook Air (2015). Third, the Retina display is good. I love it. My eyes feel good at this. CON: I would hope Apple make at least one USB port at the right hand side. It is inconvenient that I always have to connect the power to the left hand side.

Get it on sale, you won't regret it.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop for every day use. Unless you are a power user, this laptop will do just fine as a daily driver, capable of doing light video and photo editing. The only con is the lack of ports but that can be fixed with a hub. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard feels great and the battery life is superb. Get this when it is on sale $799 (it is on sale quite often), it will be the best than any other laptop at that price range.

Nice entry level Apple computer product.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice size. Excellent for small tasks and most day-to-day uses. Looks good, works well, light weight... Little slow on the more demanding things. But overall very pleased with what it can do at the pricepoint. Lot's of positive value with Apple quality and features. Highly recommend for entry level users that enjoy Apple products.

Great, best laptop I've owned so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard on my Macbook Pro Mid-2012 was dying (even after replacing it several years ago) so I treated myself to this new M1. The 256gb of storage wasn't an issue as I store everything except applications on external drives, but I was on the fence about having only 8gb of RAM but so far it's handled everything smoothly. I thought about paying extra and getting the 16gb/512 from the Apple Store but the base model went on sale and I used the money I saved to buy a USB-C hub and more external storage. I just hope it lasts me as long as my old laptop.

MacBook air
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Liked: - Long battery life (one charge WILL last all day, i.e. 16 hours. Personally tested true) - Speed (the new M1 processor really is fast) - Quiet (no fan but the laptop still does not get hot) - Light and portable - High resolution & bright display Disliked: - As with other MacBooks, the keyboard is mediocre especially compared to laptops like Lenovo Thinkpad - Incompatible applications (With the M1 processor still being new, you might experience existing programs frequently crash. For example, Chrome keeps crashing) But I would guess there will be a fix soon

Great "all-around" laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never had a macbook before this but it seems solid. The display quality and battery life are both way better than I expected. The chipset is pretty beefy for such a "budget" macbook and I definitely could use it for more than just web-browsing and the occasional document writing, and its pretty user friendly (yes even if you've never used a mac before)

Great computer!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect for my needs. Lightweight and easy to use. I replaced a 2006 MacBook, so this it's nice to have a battery that works again! Got a great price on sale! I mostly use it for email, Facebook and editing files. It's nice to be able to have a lot of tabs open and not have it crash. For my needs, it's perfect!

Love my MacBook Air
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We went in knowing what we wanted as far as size and what I wanted the computer to do but had no idea on brands. Our sales guy was amazing and knowledgeable. He walked us through different brands, functions, pricing, and reliability. He did not just show us the most expensive laptop. After everything was said and done we bought the Apple MacBook Air. I have used it for College work, work, and personal things. This laptop is fast and can do just about anything! It is light weight and slender. Super happy with my purchase so far.

Best Mac on the Market
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never been one to buy brand new products as in the latest generation so when I evaluated my options, the M1 MacBook Air was the greatest option on the market. The M1 chip handles everything I give to it with grace and speed. It has great portability and amazing battery life. Student discount comes in clutch and I’ve got my laptop for the next four years of my journey.

Great value for money. Loving it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owning a Mac has always been my dream. I really love it. No complaints at all best in class performance and battery life. Yes there are some problems with m1 chip because it doesn't support everything. But may be by October everything gets normal and I believe in apple. This is very good for someone who is willing to buy a cheaper macbook. Air is not even inch less compared to pro considering performance and elegance. Overall it's a best buy for me.

Quietest Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love using this laptop. Its an excellent computer with beyond imaginable battery life. If you use the laptop for anything other than games for video editing, the battery fully charged will last you days. Its so good. Nothing else out there comes close to this computer. Also, if you are coming from an older Intel Mac or Windows laptop, you will immediately notice the silence. I cannot stand using any other laptop now because the fan noise from everything else is just so loud. This Macbook Air is dead silent. Just a great machine to use!

Macbook Air M1 is best laptop even in late 2023
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop was released late 2020 and 3 years later this is till the best laptop money can buy for 750$. Highly performant and power efficient . I design CPUs and can say that this M1 was one of the best in class mobile CPUs we have seen in past 10 years. M2 M3 are all iterations. I did notice that M2 Macbook air did trend for 899$ during thanksgiving and would be a better choice if you use your laptop a lot , but if your major activities are browsing and content consumption, email this one is for you. I think of this laptop lasting easily for 6 years if not more. If you are in college and want an affordable laptop you would not go wrong with this one but I would suggest you go with the M2 as it has a better design and front camera which can come handy with facetime calls and you would not feel that peers have a laptop that matches current design trend. So if you are in college and can spend that extra 150-200$ go for the m2. The 256GB of storage is fine for me , In this day and age storing photos in google photos. Overall a great laptop.

One of the best computers ever made.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this laptop for 2 years now and I can still say with total confidence that it's a good buy in 2023. This laptop will last the average person until 2030 if not longer. That's a ridiculous value for the total cost of ownership, so all that's left for you to decide is this: Is this laptop capable of doing everything you need it to do? Even though it's 2 years old and the lowest spec'd and cheapest laptop Apple currently sells, I think for 99% of people the answer is YES! The M1 chip is up to some crazy witchcraft. That's the only way to explain how the battery lasts so long, how the computer is so fast, and how portable it is. Don't worry about the 8GB memory, it's enough for almost everyone. Storage might be a different story. If you need more than 256GB, I highly recommend buying a portable SSD. It's way more cost effective than upgrading the internal storage. Compared to Windows laptops that cost the same, this computer is remarkably premium. The display is excellent, the keyboard and trackpad are some of the best in any laptop ever, and even the speakers are pretty good. The all aluminum construction is very durable and looks great. There are better laptops on the market but they all cost significantly more than this one. If you are not playing a lot of new video games and you don't need to use applications that only work on Windows, and you don't need a bigger screen (or a touchscreen), this is probably the right laptop for you.
