I'm partial to Apple products so I might be biased... but I love this laptop. It's so fast, light, compact, and easy to carry in my oversized purse for my online schooling. I'm comfortable with Apples OS so for me it's easy to use especially if you've been using Apple products. Great screen/display. It is small so I do find a little difficult to type long papers because my hands cramp but it's a great laptop.

I upgraded from a 2012 Mac laptop, and let me tell you. This laptop is a game changer, it’s not slow, battery life is great! Addition this powerful machine is so light, so no worries about snap, crackle and pop on the back, leave that problem to the cereal.

Bought this solely for the inevitable return to campus for college. Even despite that the M1 does work quite well as a regular laptop despite the limited ports available. Touch ID is quick and responsive just as it was on older iPhones, and the battery life is second only to the M1 MacBook Pro. I have only used it so far for writing papers and for streaming and out of the box it went from 80% to roughly 75% after 3 hours. Even on standby mode it sips power and I have yet to plug it in to fully charge as it is that well optimized for battery life. At $800 for an ultrabook its a great price to pick up as it easily can beat others in the same price range. at normal MSRP of $999 you may want to see how well it might work for you but is still a solid contender.

I love Best Buy, for being very patient with me in my purchase decision. After a lot of research I decided go to M1 MacBook Pro. Laptop nowadays with reasonable settings are getting so expensive that financially for me made more sense going to a brand that have a good reputation just adding a little more. The machine is fast, display outstanding, battery lasts forever. Very happy with the purchase.

I couldn't have wanted more! This product is perfect! I love the thin lightweight classic design. It has great battery life, and is very quick. Although the camera is not that great, I hardly use it for that anyways. Overall great purchase no complains here.

This laptop is pretty cool. there's a noticeable difference in the speed between my Samsung Chromebook with an i3 intel core vs this M1 chip. The retina display is vivid and reallyyyyy good quality. The Samsung has a specific screen for security reasons, so that when you tilt your screen backwards, people on either side of you can't see your screen. This laptop's (not Chromebook) multitasking is superb. able to handle many** different functions AT ONCE, which is important for me since I'm constantly switching through tabs and tasks. The connectivity(to a server), response to tap/click-time, display, SPEAKERS(amazing, for some reason Samsung thought it was smart to put speakers on the bottom part of the laptop) !! The only thing I wish I could change is the size of the laptop. It's really small compared to my other laptop, which was about 16 inches. it had more than enough space for my wrists to rest while I types. The force click touchpad is outdated apple :p sensory click is the new in. If this MacBook had a Touch Bar I'd be even more in love with it. I'm happy I got this, the backlit keyboard is helpful at night when you don't want to turn the lights on. overall extremely satisfied. Only thing that sucks is almost every app costs money, unlike the iPhone. Cool learning tools made specifically for Mac . :) the slate style is nice and minimalistic, sleek, business-like. It's cool that it's really light. so tiny you could lose it :p

Super fast computer. Very light. Superb design. It feels like a well built and well designed device. Apple leaves nothing to compromise.....it is the Mercedes of laptops. I wish it had a touch screen, but the iPad works pretty well for that! I've used many computers, but since 1984, my favorite has been the Mac. It is just an better experience all around.

If ur going to be spending money on a laptop might as well treat yourself with something good! This laptop works super fast and I never have any issues with MacBooks! Super sleek design and super lightweight! I promise you won’t regret this purchase!

I've had a Macbook Pro since 2009 and finally decided to upgrade since the old one is now only really capable of accessing email and files. I love this new model! The sleek design is great. I wish it had a real USB port but I bought an adapter that I haven't even needed to use yet. It's fast, quiet, the battery lasts forever, the sound quality is excellent.

I recently purchased a MacBook Air from Best Buy, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This sleek and lightweight laptop has exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the performance of the MacBook Air is outstanding. It's apple! Enough is said with just the brand. It runs smooth and fast and my kids have zero complaint when using it at school. Light weight and easy yo clean!!! Battery life is amazing!

Well built, blazingly fast, amazing trackpad, decent keyboard, and the M1 chip makes a world of difference. Got this during a sale and Best Buy always comes through with those once in a blue moon crazy deals. Still offering 256gb as base memory and 8gb is rather paltry, even though the M1 is fast, would've wanted a bump up in SSD and RAM.

Works perfectly; exactly what I needed! Size is exactly what I need. Easy to set up and operation exceeds my expectations.

I was hesitant at first due to new technology. However I decided to go all in on the base model and I am extremely happy I did. The machine wakes up super fast and does not heat up as much as my previous apple MacBook Pro with intel chip. This m1 chip is a winner it does not get as hot as the intel chip and the battery life is off the chart. I look forward to putting t through its paces. Joe

I am SO happy with my purchase. This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned. I love the weight and slimness of it, not to mention the beautiful rose gold color. My service was great (as it has always been with Beat Buy) and it was a 5-star experience! If you’re looking for a laptop, this is the way to go!

I bought two of these machines for my kids as they start college and they are fantastic. Great charge that gets them through the day, sleek and light so they are easy to carry around campus and a great price for the value.

I absolutely love this laptop! Definitely the best I've ever had. I've always been a MacBook user, owning a MacBook Air (i3, 2014) and MacBook Pro (i3, 2017)... as you can see I love upgrading! I had to get my hands on the M1 Processor and I am not disappointed. The battery life and smoothness it provides is unmatched at this price point. I purchased this on January 29th, using it mainly for audio processing, video editing, writing, and some normal browsing but I feel like I've only had to charge it twice! Insane. Speaking of the processing power, I've always gone for the base processors in my prior MacBooks because of the price. That said, I've always noticed lagging with certain software and apps that need the power to export & upload videos, audio, create graphics, etc. With the M1 being the new standard at every price point, it made my decision much easier. It definitely closes the performance gap between the Air and Pro models, while increasing it between the newer and older models in a very good way. Lastly, I feel like the big criticism for any new MacBook that's been released in the last 4 years is the change to USB type C. Not for me! My learning curve for USB-C was with my old Pro, but once I started acquiring the necessary gear I quickly found it's not only more reliable, but more powerful. Pretty soon, that will be the way with all new tech and it will (rightfully) become the standard.
