I’ve had 3 MacBooks so far and I’ll never stop buying them and recommending them! The design just gets better and better the weight is pretty light and the price isn’t all that bad! I also love Apple because of the aesthetic how can you not! But all in all this MacBook is so good because it’s fast, has great battery life, and honestly I find it to be great as a student laptop and for fun!

This MacBook Air with the new M1 chip is very fast and has excellent battery life. The design is beautiful and my wife enjoys carrying it back and forth from work. Excellent computer.

I bought this laptop as a work laptop to temporarily replace my HP Spectre. I have had a few Macbooks before but I wasn't sure what to expect performance-wise from the new M1 chip. Battery life is amazing. I can get anywhere from 15-20 hours on lite usage. Applications not built for the M1 chip can shorten battery life but the it will still provide you with a sold 8-10 hours on screen time. Keyboard has decent travel with nice clicky keys and Apple touchpads are always great. Amazing sound from such a tiny and light laptop. I must say, great value for a laptop that was priced at 850 when I bought it!

My first Mac was a 2013 MacBook Air. I've always been a Windows user since the late 80's. I use my MacBook throughout the day and I appreciate the almost instantaneous start up when I open the lid. The expected life of the 2013 model prompted the purchase of the new M1. I like the fact that I am no longer promoting my Apple product with MY battery life because the apple on the lid is no longer lit up! I miss the orange to green light on the charging cable. Knowing the battery is fully charged at a glance was a convenient reminder to disconnect the charging cable. Leaving the charging cable on when done charging was and I think still is a no no. The 8 GB of memory seems to be lacking because some of the overwhelming advertising on some web pages that I visit. Calling Apple support, concerning the memory warnings, was a sorely displeasing experience. The agent, with an English speaking barrier for me, did not know anything about the issue, left me on hold and then the connection was lost. I did not call back. The touch ID feature ends up being a luxury feature for me. Overall I am happy with the new M1 and would love to experience it lasting as long if not longer than my 2013 model (which I still have and it still works).

I was blown away by the battery life of this laptop. The M1 is a nasty beast as well. I wish I've purchased the 16GB version but can't really complain for now.

Very much happy with how QUICK and POWERFUL the new M1 Chip is! I've owned MBP's in the past and was heavily debating on paying more for one over this and boy am I glad I saved a few chickens and got this bad boy/girl. The other day I ran Spotify, Lightroom, Photoshop, Chrome and Quicktime with GarageBand running in the back ground. Not only did the fans NOT turn on but this MBA DID NOT LAG! No death wheels, no freezing or slow responses. Really happy with this purchase and what Apple has delivered. I did buy an external HD w/ 1TB to give myself MORE storage at a fraction of Apples cost.
