The new MacBook line with the Apple M chips are fantastic machines. Fast, efficient and with long lasting battery power are, in my opinion, the best laptops on the market

This computer has performed great! Like most apple products, it is simple to use and understand. It works for exactly what we need it for. I have an external hard drive to help with the storage limitations too.

I am upgrading from a 2012 air. First off, the display, speakers, and trackpad are a huge upgrade and way better than any windows laptop I have ever had. This thing is also PACKED with power! I use adobe after effects and despite it using rosseta with my plugins, it performs just as good, or if not better than my desktop PC (r5 3600, RX570) Battery life on browser based tasks make this thing last many hours without being tethered to a wall.

Love my MacPro air laptop. It is so easy to use. Not to much difference than my old laptop. I don’t like change but this was easy to learn and so much lighter than my old laptop.

Very Similar! The main differences that I can see are that you have more USB ports on the Pro, and you are able to run the pro without the processor throttling down to a slower speed because of thermal issues. Basically, the Pro has a Fan, the Air doesn't. I bought the Air with 8gb, however ive decided to return it for a Pro with 16gb. I thought 8 would be enough, but it turns out After Effects needs a lot of ram.
